I played for the Iowa Wild AAA U16 a couple years ago and played a decent amount of these teams, the best team that I played against was definitely Belle Tire
Boys a lot of these players played for multiple teams. Like fore example if you play in Michigan you move through the different programs. Or if you play in Texas you you either play for stars elite, Colorado tigers, or the tbirds. Some even move to Michigan to come play

Compuware Ambassadors were part of the OHL officially if I recall back in those days - although LIndros was so young (I think 15?) - and back then the blending of AAA youth and Juniors was a bit more common. Toronto Marlboros as an example was clearly youth - yet also somehow consider a junior feeder to the Maple Leafs.
@@CulturamaJoe Eric Lindros great player did not play AAA in US. Played for London Knights & Toronto Marlboros. Played for the Compuware Ambassadors Tier II Junior A Team for I believe 8 games. I believe he had a dispute with his OHL team and mom wanted him traded. That's what brought him to Compuware for a short time. Jim Rutherford was involved in bringing to Compuware. One player that could replace him would be Jimmy Carson. Brain Rolston is another option.
