I can't believe you discontinued such a magnificent system and replaced it with mediocre and uncustomizable Boaxel. Only one shelf depth, only two shelf widths, no sliding rails, no ability to have different depth shelves side to side, no free-standing posts for non-wall mounted systems... Boaxel is a failure.
That's because studs are used only in the US. In Europe, the wall are generally concrete or hard material (brick..). Clearly, this video is targeted to the EU and most likely the UK.@@zubenel444
Marie-Agnes Michellod No, studs are very typical here in Australia. So this is not a US is the only different country scenario. Dont just blurt out assumptions just because you think yourself to be clever. I am building this algot thing and I definitely attached it to studs when I could.
@@bobbico03 Hi Olaf! Since the width of the shelf might not match the distance between studs, did you attach one vertical bracket to studs, and maybe another to drywall, or did you find a way to sync everything up to the studs?
I like that a cup of coffee is part of the instructions!
I'm replacing it with a beer ;)
Do the wall uprights need to be screwed to the studs in the walls?
yeah, I made the mistake of not screwing mine in and the entire thing came off the wall
baskets do not work. Arm swings constantly.

Nothing in regard to studs whatsoever... Typical Ikea instructions.
Apparently, it's not necessary to attach the shelf supports to the studs. Or they would have said so.
