People dont usually know who they are at first, nor care about kpop but they know that if they associate themselves with BTS, they will get lots of attention online and views for their show. Thus they got invited to tv and award shows because the fans will follow them anywhere. They made the best of the few minutes given to them as performers and got the ball rolling for themselves.
I really love how at 4:18, Joon didn’t say “I couldn’t believe what WE have accomplished”, instead he said, “I couldn’t believe what ARMY had accomplished”, I know a lot of artist wouldn’t say it this way, and with him saying it that way it definitely shows how humble, respectable, and so gratifying of Armies everywhere who have helped to push their views very high. I remember when they had their first couple of interviews with American hosts and felt like they had to speak English and having to rely on RM to translate but now they feel more open to speak because they can speak Korean no matter what their hosts or questions language may be.

A lot of artists and journalists talk about our fanbase a lot, it's often the first thing they mention to BTS (how passionate we are) when they interview them, I love this but hopefully the first initial talking points in the future will be more on them, their artistry and music. I loved this interview though and I miss Yoongi. I love Jimin's optimism and I hope they do win the pop/duo group performance grammy, their performances of Dynamite have been so top notch and charismatic

I see quite a few comments asking where Suga is, or asking why only 6 out of 7 members are present. In early November, Suga announced on Weverse that he had surgery done on his shoulder. The surgery was to fix issues with his shoulder that was a result of a road traffic accident he had pre-debut in 2012, in which he was knocked off his bicycle by a vehicle. As such, post surgery he is resting and sitting out of promotions in order to properly rest and recuperate.
@@namrakhan4269 in 2013 he had a car accident when he was working as a part time delivery guy and crushed his shoulder, it was dislocated and never healed. It always hurt him, so he decided to make surgery a few months ago and he's in bed rest. Pray for Yoongi 👉👈😟💜

A lot of artists and journalists talk about our fanbase a lot, it's often the first thing they mention to BTS (how passionate we are) when they interview them, I love this but hopefully the first initial talking points in the future will be more on them, their artistry and music. I loved this interview though and I miss Yoongi. I love Jimin's optimism and I hope they do win the pop/duo group performance grammy, their performances of Dynamite have been so top notch and charismatic

The surgery was to fix issues with his shoulder that was a result of a road traffic accident he had pre-debut in 2012, in which he was knocked off his bicycle by a vehicle. Grammys suck and will never recognize bts. Bts doesn't need grammys. Even other famous artists hate grammys.
Grammys never give kudos to the right people. The awards are bought anyways.
