I trust you Jesus carry me as I struggle to provide for my children. As a single mother things can be challenging. Both of my sons are special needs yet I’m so blessed to have them they are my life. Both my father-in-law is a Pastor as is my sister-in-law's father-in-law. And on 4th of July, they tried gaining up on my literal 6 day creation limitations to less than 6,000 yrs of age for the Universe (single spoken sentence). And because they're "trained" (READ: Indoctrinated) into ruin and restoration theology {sic}, and tried to brow-beat my researched belief that there is no other room in the Bible for any other choice. And they kept saying, "That's your interpretation!" To which I kept saying, "No! That's what it SAYS!" And went on to say that there are 11 chapters written by the Finger of God, on a stone, for Moses, AND He bookends these chapters with honoring the Sabbath for in 6 days, EVERYTHING was made! Even Col 1:16 says both the visible and the invisible, the physical and the spiritual! And that time BEGINS on Day One! In fact, in Ezekiel it says of Lucifer, 'On the DAY you were created...' it further says, 'You were in Eden, the Garden of God before iniquity was found in you...' which happened the moment the MAN took a bite, Lucifer became an accomplice to MURDER of Adam. By the way, before the fall, THEY were, 'Adam' as they were one, even their DNA was identical. Also Jesus tells us that by one man sin entered the world, so that by one man, Jesus, we can be saved!" And trust me, throughout they kept trying to interrupt me saying that I'm limiting their God, to which I said, "Actually, you are... I mean for ALL that time, what exactly was God doing? Is His arm so short He cannot create it ALL in 6 days? The purpose of Creation is relationship with God by Man. What's the purpose of Creation before man? Isn't God immutable? Was the so-called preAdamite earth a trial run?" They insisted I didn't understand Hebrew enough to understand what they did. To which I said, "God exalts His Word above His own name! Can't He also protect the Bible for me to read? BUT..." I continued, in Job it says that ALL the sons of God rejoiced at the establishing of the foundation of the earth, which happened on Day 2, so they had to be created between days one and 2 (actually it's Day 3, and between days 1 and 3). To which Bert said, "Well it also says that, 'the sons of God had the daughters of man...'" to which I replied, "'And there were men of renowned', but it does NOT say, 'ALL' there. Furthermore..." I continued, Lucifer was in the serpent NOT Satan! Lucifer was the ONLY Creation to be designed to have his back to God, Lucifer veiled God's FULL glory to all those who worshipped God, EXCEPT the man and the woman! I like to say that, 'in 6 days God created the Heavens and the earth, and all there in them of, on the 7th He rested, and 58 yrs later, the serpent asked the woman a question! See the man was formed, then he saw God create Eden to the East, placed him in the Garden, then out of the dust, God created 1 of every beast of the field and bird of the air, to both see what man would call them, and to find a help meet for him, though none was found.' I then interject, 'keep in mind the woman was not surprised that the snake spoke, as it would make sense that at least all the beasts and birds of the Garden of Eden ALL spoke, the justification for this is two-fold, A. They wouldn't have been a good help meet for Adam IF they didn't, but also, how could the serpent be the most cunning of the beasts of the field, IF the rest of the beasts weren't less cunning of speech??' I continue, and ask, 'what's last Creation of God?...*pause* it's the woman! The reason we didn't fall when she ate is two-fold, again they're one, collectively Adam, and because she was last to be created, she never saw God create anything, so technically she's literally the first person of faith! But the first assumption is that God instructed Adam to not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, God didn't want us to know EITHER good nor evil, God wanted us to know God! But the man ASSUMED it applied to the woman too, which is why Lucifer asked her, {hath God truly said...?} Which of course, to her, God had not, which Lucifer KNEW! He is no more or less than the other two arch angels, Michael and Gabriel, all had one third of the remaining angels as their army. He's very intelligent though, and very astute! I like to recall in the Lion King when Simba gave a pathetic roar at the hyenas and they take off, and Simba is puffed up! But it was Mufasa behind him as to why they ran away. I picture that over time, that's what puffed up Lucifer and also made him grow to resent Adam. When worship was occurring, ALL the sons of God worshipped in Lucifer's face, but it was God they were facing and worshipping but to Simba er uh Lucifer, it FELT like it was him. Perhaps even HIS army were bent towards potential idol worship of their General too? But regardless of following Lucifer's casting out, or they were accomplices of Lucifer's iniquity in Eden by complicity, they too were stripped of all of God's attributes including honesty. Which is backed by Jesus claim that nothing that proceeds from Satan is true, it's not possible! But the serpent, although deceiving through omission, didn't actually lie technically. But his sin wasn't fulfilled until the man ate.'" At this point they're wanting me to be quiet and change the subject, almost forcefully, even putting up their hands to stop me from proceeding any further.
What, Doug, did I do wrong?? How can they not be open to see that clearly they must ADD stuff and SUBTRACT stuff to the Scriptures to get to where they are??? I lost sleep over this because believing a false doctrine dilutes everything else that's INCREDIBLE in God's Word?! I truly believe the last day of the Tribulation will be exactly 6,000 years from Day one! And the millennial reign of Christ in Jerusalem is the 1,000 years Sabbath!!! But what can a non-trained theologian truly know? That's what they're thinking, I know it.
