Would you also move the windward line by hand if you have a lot of wind? In this situation the windward line is basically holding the whole boat and has a lot of pressure on it. Removing this line to put it to another cleat seems wrong
Not really, i still had the windward bow line + leeward line + leaning on the other boat, if i didn't have the other boat there then i wouldn't be needing to spring from the first place 😁

But if its super windy, you can use a second line to do it and then when it's on remove the first one 👏🏻
