You are no longer the tsunamis in my eyes, or the rage in my fists. You are no longer the sad expression on my face, or the ache in my chest. You no longer consume my every move, thought, or conversation. My body no longer aches for your touch, and my lips have stopped tasting like you. Yeah, I am over it, right? I mean maybe my eyes still search for you in crowded spaces, and maybe I still feel you by my side when I eat at that place, or have that drink, or watch that show, or hear that song. Maybe I still hear your laugh in everyone else’s, and maybe when someone says your name it stretches my lips ear to ear, and maybe.. Maybe it absolutely shattered me to see your lips connect with hers- okay, maybe I still love you, but it’s not the same love it once was, I care about you, I miss you, but I don’t want you back.
