I was stuck at the wallpaper puzzle, I would NEVER have guessed the wallpaper inside the pc.
I was clicking on every pixel of each wall basically.

@@lukeleslie9648actually, I am only aware of Smants hack, FR VR missions and my other one. There’s another unreleased one from Smant as well.
@Knetterkoekje wizz has an earlier one (Pokesczpe) available on the pokécommunity rom hack forum.
Smallant has his shared on his google drive (with a second escape room upcoming).
There's also the romhsck Firered VR (but that one uses a system to dplit puzzles in tiny levels)

So i beat it a different way. I coveted eiscue and got lefties on munchlax, did copycat for leech seed and then belly drum. after a couple of turns i kill eiscue with facade and leech seed chip and move on to chipping aboma. he will eventually defeat himself by struggling. munchlax can survive 1 struggle at a green hp.

There is one with different puzzles and I can’t for the life of me remember what it’s called😭
I want to make one for gen 4 but man is it difficult to come up with clever puzzles

I was so annoyed with the battles because either the stackatacka would attack my yamask instead of skitty, and the leech seed would target abamasnow.
I needed to use a hint for the wallpaper.

My biggest issue with this escape room is that the Heart Scale obtaining is random, and that Pickup (the ability that gets you the heart scale) doesn't grab Heart scales until Level 51 in any game. It's not a fair thing to have to figure out, since it's not something the game can do without explicitly changing an internal mechanic, which I feel goes against the spirit of escape rooms.
From my playthrough it seems that pickup is guaranteed to give a heart scale every time you win a battle. So that part isn't so unreasonable.
@@yaakovappel8820it’s actually not. I improved odds from 10 to 20% and added a bad luck protection giving you a guaranteed scale after five won fights latest!

Pokemon Escape Rooms are really fun, some incredibly captivating puzzles can be made with them.
Only thing I didnt enjoy this vid is that it for some reasons sounds like you had two different Pokemon Music Playlists playing at once in the background, so there would always be two songs awkwardly overlapping one another
I enjoyed this, but had two comments here:
1) You sprint through the text so fast it’s hard to read
2) You read a dude that said you have to beat him before the double battle… and then spent like 20 minutes trying to figure out how to beat the double battle first lol. Feel like that may have been related to point 1.

Can someone explain the skill swap sequence in the double battle? I didn't get what was going on. Thanks.
Normalise turns every move a pokemon uses into normal type, as well as boosting its power. Since Yamask is a ghost type, it's immune to normal, so using skill swap to give the opposing mon normalise makes it incapable of hurting Yamask. By using role play, Yamask is able to switch its own ability to normalise, letting it skill swap it onto any other mons that come out.

Spoilers for first puzzle.
I went to play this myself and got stuck immediately, since as soon as I fought one lvl100 fossil I figured they'd all be level 100. I'm not really a fan of there being 8 or so red herrings that just knock you out and waste you time, and the only way to check them is to go through that process. I feel like having the fightable mon signposted in some other way would have been good.
I feel you but at the same time, multiple times as I watched this, I was like “oh wow they really want you to check EVERYTHING”. Like after checking the PC I would’ve been like alright there’s nothing here and then wouldn’t have bothered to check my mail. That would’ve cost me some valuable info. So I think it’s good that this game does enforce the idea of “nah you really should check EVERYTHING”
The Bastiodon mask has a feather - I saw this and immediately went to the Archen fossil (which is the level 12 fossil)
I just cannot get this game lol Tried to download it on my Mac computer... But it's like oh, we don't recognize it and you need to do another forty steps and learn how to code.... Android phone magically doesn't have the files in the folder after extracting on any platform 2 include M. G b a and my boy advance... Can't do it on the tablet.. I don't have homebrew and I don't have a windows computer so I guess I don't play!

I’m pretty mad he kept flinging flame orb onto skitty. The burn is only detrimental. Facade doubles power when burned but without guts, your attack is halved. Same damage output, but wastes a turn with munchlax and does needless DOT to skitty
Burn doesn't halve your attack stat. What burn does is halve the power of physical moves. Since Facade is not halved by burn, flinging the Flame Orb is beneficial because Facade is doubled while Skitty's attack stat is unchanged. Burn only halved Attack stats in generations 1 and 2.
@@yasharthpandey6317 from bulbapedia: “When using Facade, burn's effect of halving the damage done by physical moves is still calculated (unless the user has Guts).”

obviously if he needed advice he would ask for a hint or something, but if people instantly start to backseat whenever he gets minorly stuck then it becomes unfun lol
