You have to look at the context of it, and not compare it like that. Liverpool fans would agree, it's been a tough season and WHEN we finish top 4 it'll feel like winning a cup. Of course winning the league and UCL is a bigger achievement but finishing top 4 this season with such a dreadful season but he shouldn't be dismissed just like that, it's a valid arguements, when we won the league City had a poor season and winning the UCL we were finalists the season before.
This season no senior CBs, no Henderson for most parts, no TAA for 2 months, Mane and Bobby firing blanks. The whole Gini contract situation, sacrificing Fabinho to CB. That's the context. And Liverpool fans get it and FYI Klopp did say it, but you have put it into context. And for this Liverpool fan getting top 4 feels like a trophy.

Clean bill of health for all of those. Yes your centre backs have been injured but that's your own club's fault for going into a season with only three senior centre backs including ones who can't walk down the street before a breeze puts him on the treatment table for 3 months.

If he had said finishing top four would be an achievement in terms of the lack of squad depth this season and injuries sustained I’d have thought he’d have had a valid point, I feel if we won the UCL and prem this year we wouldn’t have as appreciated how difficult it was in 18/19 and 19/20 and as a result, we needed humbling and next season we will be hungry for it

Football is all about the silverware. Ridiculous. As a Leicester fan, the Champions League will be a nice bonus if we beat Chelsea tonight and the extra funds will come in handy but if given the choice between qualifying for the UCL and winning the FA Cup you take the silverware all day long. Moreover I think we'd have a chance of winning the Europa League if we miss out and end up there again.

Getting top 4 is NOT a bigger achievement this season. Yes we've had a tough season under the circumstances with injuries etc BUT i would never swap lifting the Champions League and The Premier League after 30 years. Emotions run high but thats it. 4th position doesn't guarantee CL football, we would still need to qualify. Klopp said it would be a massive achievement but thats it.
