Life is gooood... But I still feel incomplete. Searching pet shops in Lapu-Lapu and City Cities in an effort to find a Shepard or Retriever breed canine to be an addition to the fam.

Do they have an animal control there that picks up stray dogs? The Huskies here are escape artists - always running off. I've never had one, but the best dog I ever had was a German Shepherd - the only large dog I have ever had, and so hard to raise and bring up. You can't find a better dog though, with the proper training. I'd get another one, if I had the energy to deal with it but I don't. 😒I love Labs! ♥The 2 dogs we have now are rescue dogs - someone dropped them off at the beginning of the pandemic, right in front of my house on the street, and the poor dogs kept following the people in the truck ( a lot of people dumped their dogs at that time). I watched this couple stop and drop the dogs out - so sad for them, but now they have a great life, and are so well taken care of and loved!
Unfortunately not. The huskies and malumute breeds here escapes and gers ran over often. Sad

Go to a veterinarian and see how much it cost for the upkeep of one
They can become family members, and having one sick and not healthy is a big problem. And if you can. See where your getting the pet from. To many places breeds will not live , they die . Go to the breeder and see the owner.
