The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "(There are) two words which are dear to the Beneficent (Allah) and very light (easy) for the tongue (to say), but very heavy in weight in the balance. They are: ''Subhan Allah wa-bi hamdihi'' and ''Subhan Allah Al-`Azim." Sahih al-Bukhari 7563
But you have to think what kind man would do that in first, i know he plays important role in building the mosque but it's not very positiv back story of person who was ready to sacrifice a human as if Iblis himself commanded it
subanallah what a beautiful story of the Prophet (ﷺ) always have full tawakul on Allah!
His subservience to Allah [SWT] is astonishing. What a fantastic messenger, and slave of Allah.

Why be hung up on the 'what if'? Trust in Allah, sufficient is He.
Yes, he was ready to obey his Creator. Are you ready to obey your Creator in matters lesser in difficulty than what Ibrahim(AS) faced?

@@TheSvartdemon a man ready to obey Allah regardless of the command isn't a good backstory? Are you muslim?
