CongratuIations on your Dualtron Thunder and a great test of speed shown here in your video...Thumbs up bro. I own the Dualtron mx It has "NEW DUALTRON" written on the grip tape I had my top speed clocked at 74kmph I weigh 67kgs it was a long stretch of road but i topped out at 74 if the wind direction had have been a little better maybe could have achieved more there are so many variables when speed testing? I know the Dualtron mx on there specs page says top speed of 65kmph not too sure about the thunder but can imagine it would have been more. For me price was an issue so I went with the Dualtron mx to keep up with traffic speeds and have some fun on. I do believe the rated speed on these scooters are not as accurate as it seems as you can see mine topped out 9kmph faster than the specs and im sure its the same case with your Thunder budd. Thanx again for the review much appreciated and "BE CAREFULL MY FRIEND" haha.
Rokkaz I can not get as much boost out of mine. 3rd gear. Dual motor and P8 is 100% and P7 set to 0. Still it only goes to 65km/hour and slowly slowly rises to 70. I seen your videos you go from 50-80km/h in seconds. What am I missing or doing wrong?
That my dear friend is true. Windresistance is hard. Soon I get my seat I will make another try then. Keep up the food work. Yoy have the best quality DTT videos sofar.
Hello Rokkaz me too, I have the same problem, slowly speed reach 70 km’h and I am not able to reach 85 km’h ?! My weight is 87 kg, but normaly Thunder is enough powerful to reach 85-90 km’h isn’t it ? Does it exist different models of Thunder more powerful, less powerful ?

I live in AUS. My Dualtron Thunder doesn't show any sign of wobble during high speed. The only thing I notice is that the higher speed, the lighter the steering become. This is where steering damper become useful in motorcycle. Anyhow, if there is any issue regards steering from low speed - you may have a damage part to begin with.
I'll be getting one next year after I wear out my 2000 watts nan robot scooter which I paid 1300 shipped from China to California. Bit dualtron have a store right in my city now😁
I wanted to buy one when i got a lot of money but I'm living in France and the new law will ban e-scooters, hoverboards, gyropods and electric skate board that can reach more than 15.5mph
@@p0tat0es_nation64 They are illegal to go more than 15 mph in California also. But you have to open it and remove one cable. My friend did and the store that he bought it from told him how to do it. He goes 45mph. He said it's very easy
Is it stable at those speed or were u hanging on to dear life? Also how is it over bumps at those speed? I want one lol. I gotta a OneWheel I might sell to get a Thunder
It depends on the road surface. As shown in this clip, the surface is adequately smooth and I rode on it without any hassle at high speed. This unit has a built-in stem stabiliser; unlike Dualtron Ultra which has no stabiliser at all. I’m looking to take this already good stabiliser to another level by adding another bump-steer shock to it. I will post a video about it, stay tuned.
Did you Change the Rubber Suspension level which is more tender? I'm the Thunder User of Korea, The Default Rubber Suspension is too hard to ride that speed at bumpy road. But your Thunder's Front suspension moves well on your video, Thanks for your Review.
I'm still using stock rubber. However, having changed to lowest setting, I found that the lowest setting also enable a softer suspension. Please have a try and let me know how it feels at the lowest height setting.
@@lightningthunder2065 Another question if I may, if you go into your Pcodes, what are the settings of P9 on your scooter? And about how much do you weigh in pounds?
@@lightningthunder2065 Awesome thank you.. so tempted to get one. Not sure what to do if it breaks down, or how to change punctures ect. Do you have videos on basic maintenance?
I am working on it as we speak and that's EXACTLY what I plan to do when I reach 500 subscribers - video commentary. It's not that I don't want to share with you guys, in fact, it's really about video editing. If everything goes well, I even wanna throw an autonomous drone filming me around the route. Subscribers are testimony for me as a UA-camr and every UA-camr out there. You can trace back to my first three published clips; they were plain and simple. E-Scooter + UA-camr + Video editing somewhat turn into my passion.
Lighting Thunder My advice is to just keep uploading videos and your subscriber rate will increase as many of these scooter channels only have a couple hundred subscribers but nearly every video gets thousands of views, myself I will only subscribe to a channel who uploads regularly
It's on the lowest setting; your front suspension will hit the stem if you go any lower than this. Speaking of weight, it's heavy to lift and you have to get used to it. If I have to do it on a daily basis, I would buy a ramp and load/unload from my car.

Problem with the GPS speedo is that it reads too low... All cars' speedo reads about 5~ 8 mph higher than the GPS. So you were going like 93 kph. Car drivers think you were going that fast.
I’m looking to do a comparison with my car’s speedometer vs Garmin GPS to see how identical the speed readings are. The stock speedometer on Dualtron is not reliable nor accurate.
I totally agree with you. I didn't own based on logic, but rather enthusiasm. Dualtron Thunder is one of the product that falls in "Shut up and take my money" category.
This is a stock unit. It’s been proven time to time to reach between 80-86km/h. The one that does 130km/h is a mod one from Singapore. And I would love to own one also.
I have never gone that fast on my Thunder since 60km is what do most of the time but if my Thunder can go 80km I can only imagine how fast the Dualtron X would go.😂
Slim567 Dualtron X has more power than Thunder, however, I do not admire it to be a successor in terms of power and speed. This is because all Minimotors had done to Dualtron X was giving more MASS over Thunder. The weight has gone up almost double, but performance did not jump up in the same ratio.
I've watched that vidoe over 6 times cause I'm made my order can't wait for it to arrive

@@p0tat0es_nation64 How cheap
Hello, howcome the Zero 11x is a bit faster and it only has "2, 1600w motors" while this one has "2, 2800w motors" I believe
the motor winding is probably different
those specs mean nothing because the chinese can write any number, what matters is the controller discharge times the battery voltage
Ha ha! Love it!.....as much as you do! 😎💓
Impressive
All these Dualtron be breaking down or getting confiscated cause I never see New/present vids.
How much this scooter ?
Stock ? Or batteries repaired
what is your suspension
love this speed

Mine is dead stock. You have to reduce wind resistance by scouting above 40 mph. Less wind resistance equals to higher top speed.
