I'm not gonna go cite sources but i think this is a pretty good approximation of the sort of realms of human belief and value that each of them preside over. And his martyrdom was the beginning of the religion that gradually herded the sheep who would follow femto. And femto's beginning marked the fulfillment of that same prophecy, promising salvation under the hawk.
Really great theories. I wonder if Void betrayed the previous set of the god hand and if Griffith ends up doing the same for the current god hand that would definitely show the world of Berserk just goes in a circle historically.
It’s completely cyclical; comparative history is what they call it as far as our own study of the cyclical nature of history, what I love about Berserk, it seems to follow in like with those thoughts.
I think Griffith will try to double up. Sacrifice Falconia to bring the Godhand into the physical, and then immediately try to sacrifice them in the same play. Falconia being sacrificed has a horrifying human element to it that sacrificing the Godhand lacks. So I think they’ll likely be packaged together.
I like the idea, but first, we need to find a reason why the God Hand would want to come to the physical world. In fact, all four of them would need a compelling reason, so I don't see that happening easily. (Perhaps to kill Griffith?) If they do though, it would give Guts the perfect opportunity to face them.
I had an extra theory to add, how Berserk maybe ends. Griffith succeeds in this play, and he basically becomes God. And then he realises the bad that hes done, and actually uses his power to reverse all the shit he did to Guts, and gives him a happy ending. This would make Griffith one of the most complex "villains" of all time
the scene from the flashback was gaserics kingdom being consumed by monstes from deep layers of the asteral world it was right after void sactificed the kingdom and danan to get back at gaiseric and i believe the chaos in the kingdom allowed him to manifest the old members of the godhand to the physical world ... but just like charlotte said 4 angels or like shierke calls them 4 cardinal kings came and saved the day... this is why the idea of evil created the holy sea to ruins the reputation of mages and why griffith is attacking the magic trees its because they are the biggest threat to them..... as for the title when the godhand will return... i think we are still a long way but berserk can surprise like i didnt expect slan to make a cameo in the cave
Imma call it now, even though guts hates Griffith, they may team up to fight the God hands, and then they'll both fight each other at the end, since guts has the arm canon he may use that if Griffith freezes guts and with rage with the berserker armour guts would push through that and use his Cannon on him and able to get a chance(idk though just a cool thought)
I find the idea of Gaiseric's kingdom and falconia paralleling one another really interesting. It's like Skull Knight has both core attributes of Guts and Griffith somehow
This souls be a twist, skull Knight Being the Griffith of his era, gutts Being the void, maybe rickert Being the void and zod Being the gutts, dont know
I think you are spot on. It appears that they need physical forms, which is why they had to go to such lengths to get Griffith back into the physical world. I'm not sure what they are doing all day, beyond the occasional person reaching that point of them using their Behelit. It seems like things do repeat in Berserk, but the issue is how do they not know that? Like if Griffith were to plan to betray them, it would seem they would know that's coming. They themselves have admitted that they can't fully predict the future, but they have some foresight into it. And even if they cannot manifest, they seemingly have an awareness of what is going on in the physical world. So you have to wonder how Griffith might even stand a chance to outsmart them. But, yeah, I feel as if there are a couple more plot twits in store for our favorite band of demons.
I have a feeling that for the apocalypse to happen and for the next cycle to begin, the God Hand themselves will be sacrificed by Femto. I believe this is what happened in that image with the previous God Hand, but it was Void who started the cycle. Guts in the Berserker armour could then become the new version of the Skull Knight.
We're coming up on the holy war arc. The history of Void says 4 or 5 angels descended and the world was shaken by earthquakes, storms, and other natural disasters. The 5 are the Godhand that Void joins and the 4 are the Cardinal Kings. We're going to see the fight.
The godhand are some of the most disturbing villains I've ever had the chance of both reading about and watching and I don't just say that because they're in berserk of all things and you know how berserk is they're terrifying because just how otherworldly they are
I think it will play out the same way as skull knights, but...I think guts will not only use the berserker armor but I think skull knight will give guts the sword of actuation or fuse the blade with his dragon slayer. During the final eclipse that's when guts will use it. The only difference will be that guts will succeed as skull knight failed
I feel that Miura wrote himself into a corner with the Godhand like GRR Martin did the Night King and the Others in Game Of Thrones. They've been established to be these forces of nature. How is Guts expected to defeat them without it feeling like the new creators pulled something nonsensical to explain why? This might be entirely a me thing.
I get what you mean. But I also think that’s why he made them rarely appear in the manga and never went into specifics on their “powers”. But yeah Guts won’t be able to beat them in a traditional way
If members of godhand were replaced over time it begs the question if they have some weaknesses. Or maybe the new cycle will somehow will be blocked by guts so current members simply die out
This is my concern as well. Prior to Miura’s death, I suspected that on the fairy island the guy who made the berserk amor was going to give guts some kind of power up or unlock/reveal new abilities of the berserk amor so he could actually stand a chance against the GH in a fight. While Shiruke and the gang also got power ups so they can better help him in his inevitable fight against griffith and his army. But unfortunately that didn’t happen, so as of now there is not way Guts (or even SK) can defeat them.
They definitely aren’t in the physical world, once void returns to the physical world Griffith is in for a rude awakening thinking he’s the big bad of the whole series 💀
I know everyone forgets that the key to the god hands plan is Void if the cycle is different every time then one of the few differences is Griffith will try and get sucked into the abyss after Void says the quote the what has been said every time a episode starts in the 97 anime of Berserk in short Griffith is the new guy being played like a foolish child and he’s going to die like one.
@@brockbooth630 I think it’s a bit different, I don’t think the heart of darkness has been active since the beginning of history, it would make sense that the heart of darkness awakened when void was a human 1000 years ago, then he heard it’s voice (possibly because he was a mage) and it could’ve given him the knowledge to preform an eclipse, the first one ever. My reasoning for this is mainly how void appears alongside other godhand like figures but they’re way more monstrous so it’d make sense to me that they were merely the first of the apostles that were created when void became the first godhand. This would also give credibility to why we don’t see them in the current story because skull knight hunted them all down but was unable to stop the other eclipses or kill void and the godhand Also I just don’t really vibe with the idea of causality repeating indefinitely, feel like there’s be more evidence of it overall, but making causality appear when the first eclipse happened putting history into a loop, that I wouldn’t mind. But yeah I agree void is the key to all of this
@@Acheron420 That would make sense the first 4 Apostles do to them looking like old gods from old religions. If what you said is true The Idea Of Evil made them 50 years apart and Void in the 16 years and the other Apostles about every month or so (I don’t know how many there are but that that is just a guess) maybe they were fantasy creatures before they become Apostles. I only said Void is the key because Kentaro Miura said so in a old interview about the God Hands plan (not giving too much away but a enough to tell us who the master mind is pun intended) and because of this he is my favorite God Hand he has been planning something for a 1000 years and whatever it is it’s going to be as big as his head.
All of these events of the godhands manifesting was before phantasia. Now that the astral and physical worlds are connected I don't think they would need to manifest into something else.
As slam stated, the God Hand is aways betraying each other, they are kill one another. Maybe bc of the cycle one is kicked out or just bc they don’t have much to do tbh
I’m really thinking guts at his lowest point right now he’s going to learn how to master the berserker armor. I don’t know if that blacksmith died too. But I can see it coming together.
Well after Genesh did his second awakening and was turned into the divine tree tearing down all barriers between realms. The God hand most likely crossed from the ethereal realm and came into the material world already
Real Life Ryan: When Will the God Hand return?! God Hand: Oh...don't mind us...we just like to watch how things play out 1st for Femto...our Beloved King!
Our Beloved King = the Sleeping Puppet because if he realizes that we have him in a sleep he’ll never awaken from, it’ll be curtains for us (see Chapter 82). When re-reading chapter 82, that line from Slan made me feel like that was an IMPORTANT plot detail that Miura left behind that will potentially be revisited in this final arc.
Average Berserk enjoyer: 'I want Guts vs. Griffith 3' Supreme Berserk enjoyer: 'I want Guts vs. Zodd 3' Gigachad berker: 'I want Schnoz vs all of eclpise+Zodd'
So if the goal of godhand memebers is to reincarnate in tbe physical world, and this has seemingly happened before, what happened to those previous members? Would they not essentially be gods among men kinda how griffith is right now?
My guess is that Skull Knight had the same things happen as Guts, i mean it's kinda stated that they went through similar ordeals. So with that in mind and knowing that time repeats sitself but changing slightly each time, maybe guts and casca surving was that slight change, maybe by the time Skull Knight was around and the whole thing happened he wasn't as lucky, though we don't know that much about him. God i wish we had more to read about Skull Knight he's sooooooo cool. Also something to really keep in mnd of is that Miura especifically pays close attention to Griffith having SOME sort of emotions left due to him basically absorbing the demon baby while being reborn, so that's yet ANOTHER thing that could change the outcome entirely, all the demons in the godhand we've seen so far do appear emotionless so Griffith having that demon baby side and basically still feeling somewhat connected to Guts and Casca as they are quite literally, at least somewhat, his parents lol. Another point i've seen people make is that how will they wrap up the story if Guts can't possiby be able to defeat the GodHand at this rate, by the last chapter he could barely even touch Griffith so it's fair to say they are so overpowered Guts wont be able to do anything. Now i think the godhand remaining undefeated is more how it's gonna play out, then again the OLDER God Hand was never shown as being defeated or anything it's not really stated anywhere other than they just got replaced by the current members, so my guess is that, if time does indeed repeat again changing ever so slightly like said here in the video, Void as soon as he got into the position of being the newest God Hand member got rid of the rest to make way for the newer ones, basically trying to prompt himself up to be their new leader, a personality trait that pretty much sums up Griffith. So my guess is Griffith is 100% gonna do the same, not "betray" per se but just literally replace them so that he can become the first and oldest member of the God Hand that's about to come. Fits with him trying to rule over anything and everyone. After all what else is there after achieving the kingdom of men like he always wanted? By crowning himself in Falconia in the ONLY PLACE where humans can live peacefull he basically became jesus, a god king. Next step would logically be to become the king of all demons and the only way to do that is to become the first and oldest God Hand member.
I am still of a mind that the elder mages with the elves are the former god hand with Fiona being the female of the group. The time frame fits, since they're in a realm outside of the normal flow of time, their faces kinda fit. I think there is a way to, in a sense, "purge" the evil somehow and come back from the gluttonous demons that just want to fornicate and feed, like Zodd condemned. There is also the prophecy of the hawk of light, meaning if there is an evil or hell then there should be a positive version as well, if we're following the same rules of "as above, so below, as below so above".
Does the location matter? It IS the same city from Geiseriks position. If Femto would be brought into the "next set of God hand" then what's the point of "The egg of the king"? I was under the assumption Femto was the last Godhand, idk why. What if Griffith is setting this all up to force Guts to use the Behelit, sacrificing all Falconians thus spawning the strongest Godhand ever.
We know that the Dragonslayer is capable of damaging the God Hand members, however it can't kill them. Slan was damaged but not killed. But still damaged. We also know that Griffith captured Casca. What if Slan can't be healed again, and they want to use Casca to heal her in another strange ritual like the eclipse? Or they want to use Casca's body to be the vessel of Slan. Or they make a God Hand member from Casca to replace the wounded Slan.
I was wondering why/if/when the rest of the Godhand will materialize into the story again, since all 3 of the panes of existence overlapped with each other since Ganishka turned into the door that links them all together.
Maybe the idea of Evil has Guts destined to be the next void...void/the sage was betrayed by a great ruler....guts was betrayed by Griffith who has become a great ruler...who knows
I know youve had your behelit rant, but wouldnt it be great to aee Ubiq give Guts a similar vision about his past, or really any member of the party. Like my personal theory is that Casca will be tempted to use the behelit, to get revenge.
I've looking through the modern day Dungeons & Dragons monster guides. .....Y'know their God-Hand members seem way scarier than the Berserk ones. Could Guts even theoretically survive in that Universe, fighting those?
I hate to "smell" endings BUT What if Femto betrays the Godhand for an ultimate "good" for Guts and Guts then gets really pissed because he never asked for none of it and slays the "traitor"? And then effing guts becomes a Godhand and does what Skullknight never could?
I have a feeling Cascas being set up to be the incarnation ceremony for the idea of evil, I assume that Griffith needs to sacrifice something that he cares about, and that only comes through the Moonlight child which is forever a part of him. Man also created the first evil and sin by death. If berserk is to end in tragedy, i believe this'll be the cyclical moment of Guts becoming just like the Skull Knight, dying as a struggler.
you know i usually say griffith did nothing wrong. but this time i truly mean griffith did nothing wrong. if time is cyclical then he had no choice in becoming femto. i think giffith and guts will join forces to end the cycle. maybe that was what the whole egg of the perfect world was about.
6:23 If that was Void's introduction to being a godhand member (Eclipse) then that couldn't also be an apocalypse. 6:42 Falconia citizens don't have negative energy, at least right now. They live in an Utopia. 7:36 The godhand and Void specifically are not dumb: they know Griffith and his personality. It is impossible for this to happen. 8:18 All godhand members are bound to human nature (Idea of Evil being a part of it). It makes sense to me that even godhand members are bound by Causality - Void said iirc that they follow orders - from the Idea of Evil I am assuming.
Here's one theory... What if Griffith wanted to take out the god hand one by one? There is no evidence to support this mind you, but just to theorize, he could possibly attack, kill, or sever the god hands involvement with his plans in the future to be the only order for chaos...or his brand of justice?
If he did that he'd probably would be willing to kill the other God hands after all they are at their core selfish we all know Griffith would sacrifice everything to become a God why wouldn't void nor any other God Hand
I just want Slan to become the mommy gf dominatrix ruler of the Kingdom….or world, or universe, etc; and i’d be happy with that ending, really don’t care about anything else there at this point for the story.

I got a Hot Topic Gift card and a whole tub of Lotion for Slans return!❤
thats a crazy thing to type and comment
My guess is Griffiths coronation as King will be the big Gaeserik moment
I agree
tre there are so many layers to considers when predicting berserk . espicially if you are a long time fan and havent read in a while
@@hcohic9884that's why I have legit given up trying to figure out what will happen 😂
Absolutely 100% agree.
Great video! I hadn't considered the Skull Night flashback to be of an event we haven't seen yet.
VOID is a control maniac so you can be sure that he anticipate any possible scenarios, including if Griffith try to betray Godhand & go on his own.
But yeah Guts won’t be able to beat them in a traditional way
The Night King is not present in the books
@@jpphilosopher So what do you think can happen? Can Guts somehow beat them in a way that doesn't break the entire story? Is it even possible?
You say that like they haven’t been the ones following you in the woods… watching you while you sleep…
HIDING ALL MY GODDAMN GUITAR PICKS!!!!
This would also give credibility to why we don’t see them in the current story because skull knight hunted them all down but was unable to stop the other eclipses or kill void and the godhand
Also I just don’t really vibe with the idea of causality repeating indefinitely, feel like there’s be more evidence of it overall, but making causality appear when the first eclipse happened putting history into a loop, that I wouldn’t mind.
Was re-reading and saw that the slug count's Behilit came from the east as well. Is he going to find the source of the Behelits?
All of these events of the godhands manifesting was before phantasia. Now that the astral and physical worlds are connected I don't think they would need to manifest into something else.
I get the feeling what you said about griffith is exactly what will happen in the story
As slam stated, the God Hand is aways betraying each other, they are kill one another. Maybe bc of the cycle one is kicked out or just bc they don’t have much to do tbh
maybe idea of evil will "betray" griffith?
Thank you for the video! ❤
I miss the god hand, yes they are super evil and stuff, but but they are kinda kawaii
I’m really thinking guts at his lowest point right now he’s going to learn how to master the berserker armor. I don’t know if that blacksmith died too. But I can see it coming together.
You're so intelligent! I love your theories and I would like for them to come true
I watch all your videos bro. Good shit ❤
Well after Genesh did his second awakening and was turned into the divine tree tearing down all barriers between realms. The God hand most likely crossed from the ethereal realm and came into the material world already
0:58 bro really wanted to be at that party 😭
Real Life Ryan: When Will the God Hand return?!
God Hand: Oh...don't mind us...we just like to watch how things play out 1st for Femto...our Beloved King!
Our Beloved King = the Sleeping Puppet because if he realizes that we have him in a sleep he’ll never awaken from, it’ll be curtains for us (see Chapter 82).
When re-reading chapter 82, that line from Slan made me feel like that was an IMPORTANT plot detail that Miura left behind that will potentially be revisited in this final arc.
“The Fire of the Heretic Orgy that I sadly was not invited too” 😂😂😂😂
I don’t know what the other 3 are doing, but I have a feeling Void and Femto are going to outbetray each other.
Average Berserk enjoyer:
'I want Guts vs. Griffith 3'
Supreme Berserk enjoyer:
'I want Guts vs. Zodd 3'
Gigachad berker:
'I want Schnoz vs all of eclpise+Zodd'
The God Hand are like the dragon Hydra, you kill off one eventually someone else will replace it.
What happened to the old 4 members of the Godhand is the one mystery I want to know.
Dude you should cover JJK, the most hype fight is going on right now and it just seems like a series you’d be into.
What if Griffith is setting this all up to force Guts to use the Behelit, sacrificing all Falconians thus spawning the strongest Godhand ever.
would break everyone this whole fanbase would just go insane
I think its a bit of a bummer that we didnt see the godhand that much
We know that the Dragonslayer is capable of damaging the God Hand members, however it can't kill them.
Savage Ryan.. yeah it’s about time to do a re read
I was wondering why/if/when the rest of the Godhand will materialize into the story again, since all 3 of the panes of existence overlapped with each other since Ganishka turned into the door that links them all together.
Someone just need to open the lament configuration hah
Maybe the idea of Evil has Guts destined to be the next void...void/the sage was betrayed by a great ruler....guts was betrayed by Griffith who has become a great ruler...who knows
I know youve had your behelit rant, but wouldnt it be great to aee Ubiq give Guts a similar vision about his past, or really any member of the party. Like my personal theory is that Casca will be tempted to use the behelit, to get revenge.
Inb4 a godhand member manifests near or on the ship next chapter
What if the godhand was really just the main group from It's Always Sunny and this was all some crazy scheme by them?
I really wanted another golden age arc of skullknight back story
Guts summons the Godhand.
Guts sacrifice Griffith.
The end
I just wanna see Skull Knight fighting void and killing the other members and guts killing femto and the boy in the process

Once they come off hiatus
Plot twist,Rickert bitch slaps them all back into oblivion.
Griffith is going to sacrifice Falconia full metal alchemist style.
I've looking through the modern day Dungeons & Dragons monster guides.
.....Y'know their God-Hand members seem way scarier than the Berserk ones.
Could Guts even theoretically survive in that Universe, fighting those?
I hate to "smell" endings BUT
What if Femto betrays the Godhand for an ultimate "good" for Guts and Guts then gets really pissed because he never asked for none of it and slays the "traitor"? And then effing guts becomes a Godhand and does what Skullknight never could?
Looks like a Mars Attack alien.
Aren't we heading for the final arc or the final saga? If so they may return sooner than expected somehow.
So you're saying Slan is coming?
Hmm i wonder what happened to the old godhand
Good perspectives!

Thanks for all the theories. Thanks even more for all the fan service! 😈❤️🔥💋 Can’t wait for their return.
i can't wait for slan🤤
I want more of Slan in Berserk
Ill be 100 by the time it happens, but man id give anything to get the backstories of the other 4.
Amazing video great content 👏
We'll see them in our next life.. 😅
Joking aside, interesting theory I've never thought about this.
Bro I’m 17 now am I going to have a wife and kids by the time berserk finishes
Man if Griffith did a face turn the Griffith did nothing wrong memes will ve even funnier.
you know i usually say griffith did nothing wrong.
but this time i truly mean griffith did nothing wrong.
if time is cyclical then he had no choice in becoming femto.
i think giffith and guts will join forces to end the cycle. maybe that was what the whole egg of the perfect world was about.
You should do the Pizza party the same day of the final event
to be honest, i just want to see femboy pay for his sins at the end
God hand takes all guts companions to take there new world form?

There is no evidence to support this mind you, but just to theorize, he could possibly attack, kill, or sever the god hands involvement with his plans in the future to be the only order for chaos...or his brand of justice?
i feel bad commenting before watching the whole video, but FIRST

Void killed the previous godhands
If he did that he'd probably would be willing to kill the other God hands after all they are at their core selfish we all know Griffith would sacrifice everything to become a God why wouldn't void nor any other God Hand
why
the hawk will betray the godhand, that sounds correct. i hope they end berserk soon, old dog needs to be put down.
I just want Slan to become the mommy gf dominatrix ruler of the Kingdom….or world, or universe, etc; and i’d be happy with that ending, really don’t care about anything else there at this point for the story.
