    About David Bowie:
David Bowie redefined musical genres and the potential of live performance for generations of music lovers. Creating and discarding a variety of personae and restlessly challenging musical boundaries, Bowie released timeless albums including Space Oddity, Hunky Dory, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust…, Aladdin Sane, Diamond Dogs, Young Americans, Station to Station, "Heroes,” Let's Dance, Heathen, The Next Day and many more. Blackstar, Bowie’s 28th and final studio album, was released on his 69th birthday, January 8, 2016. David Bowie died on January 10, 2016, two days after the release of Blackstar. His body of work, his influence on the worlds of music, art, fashion, film, theatre and beyond, and his legacy of innovation and reinvention will live forever. 2022 kicks off with Bowie at 75, a celebration of his 75th birthday with the Brilliant Adventure box set, the previously unreleased Toy, the 50th anniversary of Ziggy Stardust and a series of special events.

Dear Geoff MacCormack. I used to work in the Maida Vale Arms (as I recall) in 1993. Kiwi, behind the bar. I sort of came across your name simultaneously....watching a lot of Bowie, and also after the only humble home I had bought, was burgled mid-2016. And I came across your business card and googled you. You really are a gorgeous photographer. I am almost 56 now...and I have an almost 10yo. He is the purest joy I have ever known...but in family court it has been something of an atrocity. I am in touch regularly, as of 7-8yrs ago, with Paulette. PJ. You wont remember us lol. But I recall you vividly. You were always SO polite. I think you drank ale? But also, a fine looking gentleman. Your photographs are astounding. And as is your humanity. X

At some point in the middle of the night when we were both pretty wired David suggested we conduct an extra-sensory perception test using me as the medium. He asked me to think of an object that was - though not to our knowledge- in the room. I was then to write down a description of it.
I concentrated as hard as a truly wired person can and wrote down four words: ‘pyramid’, ‘windows’, ‘children’ and ‘tree’. We then searched the room for any item that might bear any correlation to one or more of my thoughts. We searched for quite a time on table-tops, book cases, and in cupboards but we couldn’t find anything.
As we were about to give up the search David without much hope pulled out a drawer that we had already looked in and found to be empty; this time we saw something wedged in the back. Pulling it out David looked at it open mouthed and wide-eyed as if he had forgotten how to blink. ‘shit’ he said and handed it to me.
It was a Christmas card about eight inches by eight inches. On the front was a picture of a Christmas tree in the shape of a pyramid. The tree was adorned with little windows that when flipped open revealed the happy smiling faces of children"
