Hey Tim! My two sons and I (they are 6 and 10) have been flying various foamboard models we've built all summer. Several directly inspired by your videos. We started with gliders from Michaels and converting them for flight... results were great! Now we're into scratch building from dollar store foam. We've had a few duds that despite the CG seeming good just didn't fly well. But others have been amazing ... a plane my youngest son built (with my help of course) recently flew for 15 minutes piloted by his older brother. Anyway just wanted to say thanks and your videos are inspiring! I appreciate the detail you go into for us just getting started in this hobby. Great stuff!

ZZ: Great update and thanks for checking in! Glad to hear of your successes. Do build my foam board Bronco (video is Super Simple Foam Board Bronco). Easy to put together and flies great. Two other club members have built a Bronco with similar flights, one of my favorite models. Good luck! Tim

Rolf: As they say, practice makes perfect. 😁 Do take a look at www.QCAD.org Just $40 for the 2D CAD program, I like it a LOT. Video on the channel for QCAD. Tim

@@TimMcKay56 yes, that's true with the practice. I learn something new with every drawing. I have a CNC, an MPCNC and that's the best you can have in model making.

Hi Tim, I also use TurboCad for my Plane designs The windows versions.
I have been using this software since Deluxe 12 and now on Deluxe 20 Which is great but they do not seem to do the Deluxe versions anymore. I can see yours is different due to being a Mac version but what version are you using It does not display the version number like my windows version does. Oh by the way My version only cost ten english pounds which is very cheap compared to the full blown version.

Stephen: I was using TurboCAD Ver 12 on my Mac, liked it a lot. Problem arose when I did a normal iMac system upgrade to Big Sur (all upgrades named after California locations), and my version would not work with the new operating system. TurboCAD wanted $80 to make it compatible, so I went with QCAD.org ($42.00), never looked back. QCAD just great for 2D drawing, love it. Tim
