Great series ...deserves more attention and promotion!!! Would like to see more coverage of TA 2-5 ....stock chassis / bodies (without tube frames) as in the original TA series! When will NASCAR, NHRA and Trans Am realize that us mere mortals would rather see cars more closely related to what we can buy on Monday, ...than...... the jelly bean, tube framed, million dollar operations... that travel a few seconds a lap quicker???!!! Does anyone care that the 70's cars were 10 secs a lap slower or 2 secs a quarter mile slower??? Ever listen to the sound of a '70's Pro Stock Hemi , Rat motor or Boss 9 ???!!! Or watch those TA cars drift through each turn on those slippery poly-glass tires?! That was racing!!! Look at the massive crowds at the drags, road races and NASCAR then ....with less than half the population we have now!
I was once a fan of NASCAR racing but have now turned my attention to Trans Am. I love watching street cars take on each other like the way it used to be with NASCAR. Videos of the Javelins taking on the Mustangs are so cool.
Hey trans am. I love your series and I watched the Races live. But here would be a couple of recommendations to make it better! 1. Show the practices 2. Show the Xgt/Sgt/Gt start. 3. For the first couple of turns have the commentators not speak so we can hear the engines! Much Appreciated for the Live streams thought!
The Integration Of A High Air Pressure Stabilizer System(High Air Pressure Traction System)Spindles Or Control Arms With Integrated Valves Hooked Up To High Air Pressure Compressor Tanks /LIDAR Sensors Etc And A Grand Turismo 6 Tomohawk X Aero Kit Can Pull A Premium.
First Trans-Am race I attended was in 1970 at Laguna Seca. I was 15 and cheering for Donohue in the Javelin. I owned a 63 Rambler 880 and a few years later purchased a 70 AMX. I was demon on street and used up all my "Get Out of Jail" cards God advanced me. Those were the days.
I saw Donahue beat Fulmer I think at sears point in 68 or 69, one of the greatest moments in my life, been a Ford fan ever since...not many people can say the saw Donahue driving that Camaro...
So good to see the history of Trans Am series what great footage !!
