Very inspiring. Not only for students, but even for other teachers. Revealed a lot of insights about research and higher education.
Despite being such a revered Professor in esteemed institutions and even holding apex posts like Director, Sir's humility is worth learning for everyone.
My two bits... Govt may consider a little lifelong subsistence allowance for top researchers. Most probably nobody will need it since top researchers will anyway get good jobs as scientists / teachers. But, it will give a cushion of security for research dreamers from poorer backgrounds to boldly move ahead without fear.
