In Nov. 2009 they put out a song and video for It's Fantastic (non album single released about the same time as Chocolate Love). No knows the exact reason why they ended up forming TTS later with Taeyeon instead of Jessica (Taeyeon is the stronger singer) but it could be personality clash, or SM was behind it.
Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun's voice are much stronger and powerful when it comes to vocal prowess; their voices also compliment each other. Jessica's too mild and soft, her genre would be a little too different from neither of the three. But she is a promising vocalist as she is, she's just different in terms of vocal color. But she released a song, Oppa Nappa, with Tiffany and Seohyun although they weren't considered as a sub-unit.

When i went to China in 2017 for study tour, this song was used as the alarm for the whole school at 6 am every morning for a week. What a way to wake people up, it put me in such a good mood to hear her angelic voice.
The cactus is Jessica's hurt ego / soul that is sharp and hostile to anyone who tried to approach. It was because she was hurt by leaving SM and group. Nevertheless, her soul was needed to be embraced and loved so Jessica took care of it with her heart. You know.... I've been following K-pop sense the mid 1990's and I've seen groups come and go. I remember when SM Entertainment was a very small player in the game just getting started. I have watched all these groups start up and mature but for some reason I have a really deep connection with certain groups. SNSD/Girls Generation is one of them. They kinda feel like my babies..... The cactus is Jessica's hurt ego / soul that is sharp and hostile to anyone who tried to approach. It was because she was hurt by leaving SM and group. Nevertheless, her soul was needed to be embraced and loved so Jessica took care of it with her heart. You know.... I've been following K-pop sense the mid 1990's and I've seen groups come and go. I remember when SM Entertainment was a very small player in the game just getting started. I have watched all these groups start up and mature but for some reason I have a really deep connection with certain groups. SNSD/Girls Generation is one of them. They kinda feel like my babies..... I love each one of them very personally. I both love the fact that she's made a comeback if for no other reason then to make a statement that you are strong and won't be held down. But I also weep inside when I see her. There's a very lonely look in her eyes that shows me she misses her sisters and I hurt for the pain of her separation...... I'm so very proud of my baby. But I would love to see her in some kind of video of her out on the town with one or more of her sisters. May they all find their way back to unity........ Peace......

But then the news of Jessica leaving and I felt sad because I hate to see legendary groups split up. I actually thought she's quite annoying ( along with some of the members) but I also pitied her. When you came out I thought that it is meaningful and I could relate to it. I was touched and started to listen to this and it really caught my heart. I almost cried listening to this.
