I've literally never been to a public school. And so when I finally left I realized just how much a gap I had in understanding about, well, any of this. i think you might misunderstand what fitness means. a organism’s fitness might be that it survives the longest, others might be to have the most fertile offspring, some might be the largest or the fastest or the fattest. even a complex fitness like has the most numerous, robust, fertile, successful offspring might not apply to all or most organisms. “fitness”, as I understand it, is a term that refers to plasticity to a niche in an environment. as niches are a transforming landscape themselves, the labels we put on fitness and niche, and even environment, are necessarily always incomplete.
Here's my go to response for any creationist: evolution is at this point an applied science, like materials engineering. We understand it so well that we use it in technology, like medicine and agriculture. Even if you were somehow able to disprove natural selection - itself a pretty much insurmountable hurdle - you haven't disproven that evolution exists. You've just disproven the mechanism for it and science needs to hypothesize and test a new one.
I'm a reformed Catholic with family members that don't even talk with me anymore. I get bullied when I talk about atheism and get treated poorly except by my Mom and Dad. I wish the world would accept certain fundamental understandings that we are here and we have each other. That we don't need a deity to live and we are responsible for the wellbeing of all not just under the pretense of a God.

Honestly at a high level no creationist is going to change their mind based on fact and logic. Belief is a 'feeling' and you can't logic your way out of direct experience and 'feeling.' Not to mention the sense of community that comes with following whatever religion you are following, and the subsequent fallout if you leave said religion. These are much larger factors in a creationist's belief structure and cozy piece of mind. These videos are mostly for self aggrandizing intellectuals wanting to cement their own beliefs. At the end of the day god could just be behind all science and there isn't anything science can do to disprove that.
It is a little disappointing that you dismiss a multiverse as ad hoc reasoning when the basis for such an idea is a natural consequence of one of the most important concepts in quantum mechanics. I do think that there could be a 'god' or 'creator' of the universe (for all we know, we could just be some sort of alien science experiment), but that they have no control over what happens. The only thing that I don't really agree with is 'intent for OUR existance', since the universe is so massive that it was inevitible for life not to have emerged.
ima be honest, it is strange how we might be the only life form in the universe or one of them. but I will never allow my curiosity and lack of knowledge of the universe and it’s strange formality pivot my viewpoint to believing that a diety made it. there’s only one thing we as humans can do to find this answer out one day and that is to keep working from the bottom up instead of having a top down belief. I will agree with most I’m saying that yes the government lies and manipulates just like many humans do on a day to day basis, but that does not mean that science is some evil scheme to trick all of us and that we’re just blindly following. if your smart and work hard enough to learn mathematics and physics you can find all this stuff out by yourself if you really don’t trust scientist. that’s what’s great about math especially is it’s a universal language. there is no lying in math it’s just pure logic and probability. there might be a god but what good is it to automatically come to that conclusion and discard the the journey to finding that out?

crazy how ur longest videos are debunking creationists, huh? It makes sense when u realise that there isn't much to say in response to the flerfs, so makes for a short interaction, but I feel that if u went a bit deeper down the alt health rabbit hole, then those videos would be MUCH longer since it is a lot better at disguising itself as science than creationism or flat earth.
