These replacement red switches you have are they the same make as the older green ones they stopped fitting in around 2018, I know they look the same?
These newer green switches feel so flimsy.
I bought a new NVH200 in 2021 which luckily had a red switch on.

Hello thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment most appreciated. The older style green switches are made by the same people arcolectric but have a diffrent part number. i assume these are the same as the red ones. but you never can tell. The new style green squared design switch they are absulote rubbish i have replaced at least 400 of them. I asset managed several hundred new 2021 machines and there was around 3/4 failing with in 3 years. it was crazy to start with loads failed around 6 months to a year. then it slowly dropped off. as a precaution any machine i refurb or manage gets the switch replaced. as the old red switches are still avalible and if you buy in bulk not that expensive. much cheaper than a reactive breakdown call.

@@rlfvacslakenheath 400 that’s a lot, you’d think Numatic would have realised considering they test the switch cycles from random batches.
I have only ever had a switch fail on the many machines I’ve owned, it was one of the old green ones on a machine I donated to someone, it came back for repair.
Unfortunately out of my 9 commercial dry vacs 7 have the squared Everel switch, not had any go yet but I’m sure it won’t be long, it does annoy me why they don’t add the power light to the cheaper machines, can’t cost them that much more.
In 2017 I actually had a PPR240 with the light which was dead on arrival from the supplier, it was just a dead light but Numatic sent me a replacement machine, now I know how easy they come apart I would just replace it myself.
On the Numatic Nuvac VNR200 model they appear to still make them with the older green switch, not sure why as the VNP180 and all others come with the dodgy one.
