I would love to see a video on what changed from 21 to 22 in franchise mode. Like things that aren't really headliner things like the toned down potentials. I'm honestly happy to hear that they toned down the potentials because there were just way too many high potential guys. It'll make it a little harder which is good. Excited for the new content!
One thing that didn't change so far is the busted trade logic. Yes, it's still broken after advertising that they improved it for 2 years in a row. Recently had the Padres offer me CJ Abrams (A potential with .293) for a D potential LF nobody I had as a stopgap who somehow had 1.3 WAR. The computer doesn't seem to weigh potential at all.
@@veggiefish4017 Potential doesn't mean as much to me personally as how they are actually performing because you can slack off your entire career and then go all out and mash. Potential is what they THINK you can do not what your actual potential is because anyone can become a 99 if they put in the effort and try. Just my opinion though when the devs went over improved trade logic they did say they put more weight on the war and how they are doing compared to just "potential"
@@johnlucjubert7248 a D potential outfielder could have one season where he hits better than someone like Harper. Is it likely? Probably not. But my comment was simply that if you are going for "realistic franchise rebuilds" like I do you wouldn't think of someone's potential as much as how they are actually performing on field at any particular time. Because potential is arbitrary...
You glossed over Owen Caissie...he has been raved about as having an advanced hitting approach. I would have him move to 1st base to groom him and pencil him there for the future, as the future outfield looks crowded with Suzuki (RF), Armstrong (CF), and Davis (LF)
Last night I did a trade for Soto as the marlins when he had 2 years left. It took an A potential 70 OVR SP, pablo lopez (85), and joey gallo (91). Nats were non-competing still. Maybe they patched it since earlier, or the AI just tanks the value of players in the final year of their deal?
Honestly, if Soto is unwilling to resign, I can see Washington making a trade like that outta desperation to get something for him so he doesn’t just leave and they get nothing (like when Harper left).
Excellent work as always. I'd love to see a legacy rebuild, if you will. Something that spans, maybe, 15-20 seasons. I really want to see or know what the CPU can do once you're in year 13, for example; will there be a lack of quality RPs? Will CPs continue to be overpowered (imo, they were in 20 and 21...) Thanks!
Hey Ant! 2 questions. If he can remain healthy I think Madrigal gets 200 hits, what do you think? Also, is there a player in the MLB you think Brennan Davis can be compared to now and in the future once he matures? Thanks man.
just making sure, you adjusted some of the attributes, right? because they friggen crushed all our prospects potential-wise. i know you mentioned you created Suzuki
Hey Ant! I just had an idea where you should take on the Dodgers. Blow up their roster and build a dynasty using none of the playing from the current mlb roster!
Hey Ant, I did not preorder MLB The Show 22 unfortunately but i have a few questions as a person that loves too rebuild teams. Do they have all of the minor league teams such as single a and high a also are the trades even better or still as bad and there are any clear overall upgrades from MLB The Show 21
For minor leagues it's single a, double a and triple a like the usual and for the trades go I say it's a much needed upgrade bc you'll have to give up more for the guys you want which is like real life
Not only did they win the playoffs but they like blew through it. I wish you would've took a second to see how many games they lost in the whole playoffs cause it looked like they only lost like 3
I don't have injuries on for my rebuilds. So normally I don't pay attention. But, when I do have injuries on I do try to avoid those players with high injury risk
Will you be putting your edited roster in the vault not sure how long it'll take ridin to get his out and I don't think the live roster is good enough for to start a franchise with right now
Seya Suzuki not being on the roaster disappointed me it was one of the first things I noticed potential is completely different this year it seems like all the Bs are now Cs and a few As are now Bs

barely no changes
@@tylerstever8632 there’s no “trying” in video games. A D potential will never become a star

I just bought MLB the Show 22 haven’t had a baseball game in forever can’t wait till it finishes downloading

Reds next !! Hunter Greene + Lodolo would be nice to see. Plus India, Senzel, and Stephenson for the young core

Should do a what if the pirates didn’t trade or let they star players leave cole, glasnow, meadows, cutch etc
Your face after the cubs won the WS was priceless!!!

not just trades, the placing players on wavers directly after trading for them would be a nice change
I enjoy your videos man
What i would to eventually see is fantasy draft and can only draft players in same division, like NL Central since your favorite team is in NL Central
just making sure, you adjusted some of the attributes, right? because they friggen crushed all our prospects potential-wise. i know you mentioned you created Suzuki
Go CuBS Go
How did you fix ohtani DH and Batting in the same game?
Good call on that Cubbie pull bro! Solid content as always!
I’m so ready for this! keep doing this bro your making people happy!
Coming back at say mlb the show already knew where Soto was going 😂
Love how you did the Cubs first. Thats a real fan right there. Coming from a Yankee fan
I subbed right when you said your a cubs fan. I’m one as well and hopefully this year turns into a good one 😅
I did the exact same a few days ago when I found out the cubbies were his favorite team
SDS Juan Soto won't be traded for a bag of chips
37:00 hold my beer
Torres on the bench makes it so unrealistic.
i think seiya is gonna pop off for us when he gets comfortable
Rebuild the Cincinnati Reds there in a similar weird position to the Cubs rebuild/retool phase
I feel like the Reds are much worse though
And hey with the Reds India can win ROY again lol...a glitch I saw
@@truitt23381 Yeah you’re probably right lol. I am a reds fan so I still think they might be ok but I’m probably bias
@@WolfToonsYT they did kinda spank my braves opening series :/
They should have updated the new playoff format with 12 teams. It was announced back in February so not sure why they couldn’t make that update
The fact that Soto actually went to the Padres is ironic.
Rebuild season hype!!
Cant wait to see more mlb the show 22 rebuilds. Keep up the great content 🔥
Good to know that I need to keep trade frequency at zero 😂
Oh, c'mon, dumping Jason Heyward at $23 mil on the south side! I veto the trade from the sidelines! ;) Nice, video man!

Watching this after the trade deadline… Soto still gets traded to the padres mlb the show predicted the future😳
bro trae turner sitting there perfect leadoff
Hey Ant! I just had an idea where you should take on the Dodgers. Blow up their roster and build a dynasty using none of the playing from the current mlb roster!

LETS GOOOOOOOO!!!! MY FAVORITE REBUILD EVERY YEAR!!!!! CUBS FRANCHISE SEASON SOON...
Thanks for the content ant 👍👍
In my franchise a 74 ovr Justin Verlander was traded for 86 Anthony Rendon straight up
Not only did they win the playoffs but they like blew through it. I wish you would've took a second to see how many games they lost in the whole playoffs cause it looked like they only lost like 3
Lol if the Cubs win a World Series after getting rid of the core I'll be laughing.
Wow the White Sox are drunk in this
When you planning on doing the cardinals?
Cubs were the perfect first rebuild.
Tigers next!
I used to hit with Triantos at his house, dudes a STUD.
How often do you pay attention to durability when drafting? I feel like it’s a deal breaker for me lol
I don't have injuries on for my rebuilds. So normally I don't pay attention. But, when I do have injuries on I do try to avoid those players with high injury risk

I'll try and get it out this weekend, but can't promise that.
Next rebuild, St. Louis Cardinals
seiya really made the cubs contenders, dang
Sleeping on that bullpen
Just do two contacts if ur gonna do 5 years. 2 contracts is an extra year
How is this any different from 21?
So, is trade logic improved? Or can you cheese your way to a WS easily again
It's kinda broken right now. I did get told that there is an update coming that is supposed to patch it. Idk when the patch is coming tho
LETS GO
Did you re-signed with Contreras earlier?
Love to see this🤣🤣🤣🤣
i love the cubs
the stare after you won 😭😭
Cant believe Volpe is only a 65
Do the Padres
Do you the Mets or the Blue Jays or the Phillies
Ohtani with 43 home runs and a 2.4 ERA and isnt even in MVP voting... awesome
The 🐜 = the 🐐
Lets see the twins next
Let’s go Cubs
Tamp Bay Wins That Trade with the Giants
How did you add Suzuki???

Nationals Rebuild! Imagine how hard its gonna be!!
Realistic^^
Who the hell gets pissed off because of a trade you make? Jeez ppl are crazy 🤣
Why there still a No DH lineup
Def tigers next
Tigers next??
Finally🙏🏽🙏🏽
I don’t think they updated the playoff format this year, weird.
Please do the Jay's next
I was really hoping they would fix the terrible trade system but it appears it’s pretty much the exact same
lol the jays literally always trade bichette. The cpu just loves to trade all the jays players away for some reason
i’m mad they took out half the gear for players
GM of the year #flytheW
I don’t see why means rating went down this year he’s an 80 to start but he finished 21 at an 84
can you rebuild the reds
Ya sale Suzuki en los cubs
First year of The Show 22: World Series. Is this your lucky year?
India won ROY in back to back MLB the Shows on mine 😂😂😂😂 21 and 22
No way the Cubs are 6 or 7 games out of the Wild Card, I know they are your team so enjoy your dream.
As a Cardinal fan I REALLY hope the sim and trade engine is inaccurate lol
bro actually I like fantasy rebuild better than realistic
is Owen Caissie in this
