Did you manually sync the map editor footage with the game footage via guestamate? (guess based estimation), or did you use a code to emulate the path using the x y coordinates of your character? Sorry if this sounds stupid or doesn't make sense but this is intriguing and I literally know nothing about this.

@@RikusLategan I don't have the source code for the editor/viewer, that was made by someone called T.M. The code for the coordinate sync app is in the link in the description.
@@malletUsergaming When I said "The graphics are the same as Gta 3" I mentioned texture quality. When I said "Even the graphics are slightly better than Gta 3", I meant the water and sky look slightly better than Gta 3's water and sky.
That's just the look the GTA2 designers were going for, 3D buildings, flat sprites for the cars and peds. When played from top down view as intended, it looks fine.

The tire skid sound was reused in GTA 3 and Vice City, same thing with the crushing sound at 2:02, reused when you fall to death in GTA San Andreas.
I played GTA2 and VC to death and I never noticed that!

Afaik the cars were 3D modelled and then they took topdown pictures of the 3D models and made the sprites used ingame.

I used code, it's all automatic and in realtime.

No yet, im freezed my project...but I tried decompile gta2.exe and found cop's cars ai methods :)
