- I know this is a lot and long over due. Thanks for being patient and giving me time to process and heal before sharing this. It’s still so confusing and I’m definitely still processing and healing. And this is obviously very little information, there is still a lot more to the story. So many of you have followed along for such a long time and I’m sure could see that there was so much love and happiness in our relationship and family, and for our girls there always will be :) We just had issues that have needed to be addressed on our own. Thank you for all of your love and support always.

Girl you’re really flippin strong. The level of maturity to keep it civil and even being friends for the sake of your children will be so SO beneficial to them and their development.
And that totally makes sense why you moved in to your grandma’s house! You added more love into their daily lives because someone who offered consistent love daily was no longer there daily. That was absolutely a smart move! You’re doing the right things for your kids, you go girl.

Yasmyn, the best thing you did was choose a GREAT dad for your kids. Maybe it didn’t work out between you two, but to hear you have a good relationship is so awesome. Ignore the haters you guys are still young and bound to make many more mistakes. The fact that you both can put that aside for your girls is HUGE. As a child of divorce, the best gift my parents gave me was separating when they knew it wouldn’t work and remaining friends and civil in-front of me and my brother. please give yourself space to be upset. You may not feel angry now, or maybe ever, but it also might come with time. You’re allowed to be angry about what happened, it doesn’t erase anything toxic you did if you acknowledge what was done to you. It also doesn’t have to affect your parenting or co-parenting. Just make sure you’re giving yourself space and grace to feel however you feel, even if it comes at a time when you wouldn’t expect. You’re allowed to have an emotional reaction to this kind of thing, and you are capable of allowing yourself to feel those things without letting it affect your children. That’s not to say you’re repressing anything, I’m not in your head idk how this is affecting you as an individual. But I do know that oftentimes different feelings emerge with time as you get farther from the breakup, so I just want to remind you not to rush yourself to get over it. You’re allowed to be angry, or hurt, now, next week, in 5 years, or never. Any emotion you feel in relation to this is valid.

as a child of a similar situation, i WISH my parents could have worked through the situation and co-parented like this. yasmyn you are so unbelievably strong and i speak for so many people when i say we love you, and your beautiful girls and they have so many people who care about them
I don’t think you know how hurt she was to find out her boyfriend was cheating on her. It’s just people need time who knows a couple years they can get back together but I think it’s good to take time apart. And somethings you can’t work through.

I’m sure your arrangement with Logan and the kids is what is ideal for everyone but remember that he doesn’t get to leave and have most of his free time to himself to explore. You also get that time to discover yourself. It seems like (at least from what we’ve seen and what you’ve said) that you take on most of the responsibility with the kids, as women typically do. I’d hate to see your personal life be put off bc you’re always with the kids. Don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself and negotiate more time alone. Men shouldn’t get to have it easy. You came into motherhood through an accident (at least on your part), but he CHOSE to be a father. He doesn’t get to sit back and let you do most of the work. Always speak up for yourself. Even if you prefer it like this, you need time alone as well. I just hate to see mothers doing all the work.

As someone who’s been emotionally abused for years it has been hard learning how to live without them. There’s so much unknown triggers that just pop up.

I got really weird feelings every time Logan was on camera the last few years. Like he just had an oppressive, hateful presence. It always looked like you were trying soooo hard to keep the family together and be happy but there was something wrong. This is the happiest and most peaceful you've seen in a really really long time (been watching from the beginning). Just really happy for you and happy you did what you had to that made a happy home for your girls. Being a woman is hard. People love to blame women for some reason. You're strong. You're inspiring.
I just went to watch some videos from 2 years ago and he was fine. I feel like the dynamic started changing after that.
When they started taking "solo vacations" to other places without eachother... that's a huge red flag.

@@river8760 There are countless ways to enjoy self care time but taking a vacation states away or out of the country while your sig other is with 3 very young children is weird. Go to a museum, the park, a movie, the spa, dinner, concert, shopping, yoga, etc but a full on solo vacation away from your entire family for a week plus means something is off.

I’ve been watching since baby Laela and I am so proud of us for being strong mamas. Holding our own and growing for our kids. Thank you for sharing and thank you for helping me grow as a mom since the beginning! Growing as an individual is so hard with kids especially after being in long relationships during the years we’re “supposed” to be growing and figuring it out. It’s all up from here! This absolutely breaks my heart…. and I know you’re not trying to make excuses for him, but when you said he never got to go out and find himself and a career (something along the lines of that) but you didn’t either… and that’s not fair to you. You had to grow up and deal with everything and now he just comes and goes as he pleases. I know he’s working and that’s wonderful! But if the roles were reversed it would be totally different. I hope this doesn’t come off as rude or mean, but I’m truly upset that he would do this to you and the kids. AND he kept doing it and lied about it. I know it's hard to forgive when you've been cheating on. I had a 3 year relationship and we weren't working.. it had been a good year of us just fighting constantly..I ended up cheating on him.
After the relationship ended and we spent time apart, we realised that we should of never been together in the first place.

I am sorry you were cheated on. That is a big betrayal. I think if someone is that unhappy, they need to leave the relationship or at least have a conversation first, saying they aren't feeling fulfilled and have started thinking about being with other people.
