@@MisaelMatute76 oh it had lots of problems , but it was just a flip car. I had it serviced to be safe, and pass smog. I actually feel sorry for the person who bought it off me.
CVT transmission on these is a gamble, especially after 100,000 miles. And when one of them at this age goes you're probably going to have to scrap the car because it is worth more than the car itself to fix it. My wife had a 2005. It was a great car and she got rid of it before it got 100,000 miles. It was a very fun car to drive. Very gutsy and handled the roads great. Did you put good tires on them for winter they do excellent in the snow and if they get stuck you just hit the all wheel drive button and you can climb through just about anything on the roadway. I remember driving through about 10 inches of fresh snow on the back roads to go to work and that sucker was awesome. That being said we had excellent all season tires with good tread on them at the time.
@@marcsolorzan9487 well I guess I live in a crappy area that doesn't know how to work on transmissions because the transmission places in my area don't want to mess with the cvt.
@@marcsolorzan9487 whether it's 200, 2000, or 8000. It's still a Gamble. And this is coming from somebody that has owned two muranos. I still like the vehicles and I think they have a lot to offer, but I will never be a fan of the Nissan cvt.
@@bbishoppcm no not true lol..i have a 2006 model with a 136000 kms on the clock and it still runs and looks as if its new..it depends how u drive it..be wreckless and and like any other car it will break..im verry happy with mine and love it 👍
One question, does it have a SPORT mode?
Yes, located on the transmission selector. Below D is S which is sport mode
I just bought one of these as a "mechanic special" for $700. Owner said it didn't run or start. All it needed was a jump start. Bless his heart.
Was it really all that or did you find any other problems later on?

Not true at all. Especially in this economy. You just have to stay away from the stealership. Transmission can be swapped for $2000 to $2300
