thanks, i’m all about eye relief & EB and you answered my question, some reviewers don’t put enough weight into eye box when they learned on a 1.5” eye relief ACOG
I have the XS 1-10x and genuinely love it. I had some problems with the focus ring and Atibal sent me a whole new scope. Love that. Now no problems and it checks all of the boxes for me.
@@nocturnekinetics damn right I did. The glass was good but the eye box was HORRIBLE. Move your eye just a little bit and BOOM scope shadow. I said to myself that by the time I acquired my target with the razor I’m dead. The Atibal is much more faster and way more forgiving. In about 2-4 months Atibal should be releasing their 1-12x. That’s going to be another game changer.
Thanks for the info, been looking at the Atibal, one thing I was hoping to hear was more details about the reticles once zoomed in enough to use the finer markings.
I was considering both of these. Not a lot of videos on the Atibal but not a lot of bad press either I’m wondering if the new Trijicon credo 1-8x fixed some of these issues Great review
Thanks for the video, I have been using a strikeeagle for years and I recently started to wonder if I was missing out on something even though it preforms great for what it is
I have a XP6 Atibal. It's a nice optic especially for the price. The only thing I worry about is that because it's a Chinese optic, the long term durability of it might not be that great. But yeah, I agree with your review.
I did wonder about that as well at first but mine has had the shit beat out of it over the last 9 months and it has held up just as well as anything else I have ever owned or been issued.
Wouldn't worry about the durability. We've had the XP6 out for around 5 years and very rarely have we ever warrantied one. But if you ever do come across any issues our Lifetime Warranty will give you peace of mind. Thanks!
By any chance do you have any experience with the Kentucky long 2-12? I’m not sure if I should by a Kentucky long 2-12 or a Atibal x 1-10. It will be going on a 12.5 Grendel build either way I’ll be buying a red dot to pair with the set up for faster target acquisition. Not sure what red dot or mounting system I’m going to purchase yet
I have never heard of that company so I can't speak to their quality. Also before you drop money on an offset red dot, go watch my Firearm Fallacy video on offset irons and red dots, and my Shooting LPVOs on 1x video. Might change your mind and save you some money.
It has been about 4 years since I carried the VCOG but I remember the glass being nice in it, so it would have an edge over the Atibal, but not by a massive amount. And for the price difference, most people would not be better suited spending that much more money. If you are going to drop that kind of money there are other optics with even better glass than the VCOG, I just used it because it was one of the several optics we had issued to us at the time. One nice thing about the VCOG is that it is on its own mount so there is no fiddling around making sure the scope is aligned vertically in the rings, but again that is a really minor inconvenience with most optics and wouldn't be worth the extra money in my book.
@@nocturnekinetics Thank you to answer. I read more about this theme and I will reformulate my question with correct term. Please, could you tell more about eye box at Atibal XS 1-10x30FFP compare at others LPVO at same range of price? Best regards.
I really liked mine but when it broke they told me since it was discontinued there was nothing they could do, didn't even give me a discount for a new scope
I was told life time. I talked to them directly as they are located locally in mesa az. I guess I'm just bummed out a little, it was only $199 so not a huge deal but jut don't trust the company, personally.
That would absolutely work, but in this day and age with optics that can attain almost that zoom power while still having a 1x capability makes something like a 3-12x a bit obsolete and with the added red dot and offset mount, heavier. Offset red dots do well when paired with a high powered optic though (5-25x for example) and have their place.
If by "tut" you mean video, yes I could have, except people complained previous to this that I just stood there talking so I thought this would at least be relevant or give people something to look at other than my stupid mug.

Glad to hear that they have solid customer service if I ever need it.
Curious what problem were you have with the focus ring? I think mine is having issues.
I love my Atibal 1-10. I ditched my Vortex Razor Gen III 1-10 for it and I have no regrets.
Damn you got rid of a Vortex Razor for the Atibal? What prompted that, I have no time on the newer 1-10x one.

That's crazy, good to know. I loved the old 1-6x version of the Razor, I guess they did not keep it to the same quality with the new one.
@@leechristopher9307 I haven't found it yet on their website
I got the Atibal 1-10 XV2 and it’s awesome. They also just released a 1-12x w/ the same quality glass in both FFP and SFP options

Yeah I would hope the Credo fixed the problem, but I honestly don't want to spend the money to find out after they blew it on the first try.

I heard somewhere that they use Hoya glass in the new 1-12x which is Japanese.
Your honesty got my sub
Just found your channel and subscribed. Great information
Thank you! If you don't mind me asking, how did you find it? I have had a large influx of subscribers lately and don't know why.
I like hearing from guys who have been in the military; it is about the experience, not some UA-cam guy - Vietnam veteran.
Some people just don't like the fact that someone with experience isn't shilling their favorite company like every other UA-camr does.
lol
I bought a VCOG but I wasn’t impressed with it for $2500. I returned it.
Yeah I had it issued, no way it is worth that kind of money.

I have the 1-8×24 xp8 and love it.
Awesome, glad to hear it
My Atibal 1-10 has a circle around the center dot.
They offer it in a couple of different reticles now, the one you are mentioning is the XV2.
Sick shirt 🤘🏻
It is my wife's favorite shirt
how is the glass clarity vs the vcog?

Also, when they heck will acog prices come down to something reasonable?
Never since dudes who had them back in 2007 will keep overhyping them for all eternity.
Congrats for your videos. Please, could you tell more about tube effects at Atibal XS 1-10x30FFP? Thanks in advanced.
What tube effects are you talking a out specifically?

The Atibal has one of the most forgiving eyeboxes of any optic I have used, at any price range. Very easy to use.

Are you talking about the Trijicon? Because unless I am mistaken, Atibal still offers the same 1-10x that I am talking about here.
Yes the acog lookalike

Subconsciously you picked the Atibal because the reticle looks like the murder diamond.
I have no idea what that it but it sounds cool, so yeah.
