Anyone can be a cowboy-that’s the biggest thing the DIRT crew learned in Texas. From riding bulls in Fort Worth to off-roading in the Chihuahuan desert to forging their own path across this vast state with the help of local trailblazers Liz and Lou Lambert. Lucky for us, they even stopped by Huckberry’s own backyard in Austin for a quick ruck and a couple games of chicken sh*t bingo. When the dust finally settled, we fired up the barbecue for our beefiest feast yet and raised our ranch waters high to 10 DIRT episodes in the can.

Everything truly is bigger in Texas, and the DIRT Crew covered more ground than any DIRT episode so far. The western half of Texas was a blast, but drop a comment if you think we need to come back and explore other parts of the Lone Star State. In the meantime, catch up on all past DIRT Episodes: bit.ly/3XKL4un
Yes, please do a 3 part series on my home. There's so much rich history here that's not in traditional history books and pokes holes through the mainstream ideas of Texas. There's rich Black history, Mexican and Native history, as well as others.
On second thought, maybe a 4 part series? North, South & Central, (combined), then East.
Yall covered a huge part of my state that's all the "same". Marfa and Beaumont or even Dallas might as well be on different planets!
Not knocking what yall did at all! Yall covered a large chunk of Texas in miles but only a fraction of what was once it's own country.
Maybe try places Instagram influencer's don't know about.
DIRT is the best series on youtube right now!
Love to hear it!
Couldn’t agree more! 🎉
Definitely for sure👍(a fan from Taiwan
without a single doubt that is true
agreed.
Ngl since Anthony Bourdain passed away I haven’t found another show capable of incorporating culture/history, food, and genuine fun all in one episode w/ a certain aesthetic. I appreciate this so much
There's a certain amount of authenticity that I feel is missing from most travel shows. Bourdain had it in spades obviously; he was unapologetically himself. Josh has it too in his own way. I feel like I'm getting the real feel for the places they go.
So true!
Yes! Fills that void :)
Just watched my first episode of this, turned around to my GF and said exactly this. Then saw your comment. Cant agree more!!! RIP Bourdain - A legend.
Never thought about why I keep coming back to this show but you're so right. RIP Anthony Bourdain
DIRT is definitely the best series on youtube and absolutely my favorite. Love this show.
Definitely the best channel on my UA-cam feed. Completely unrelated but second best for me is Sailing La Vagabonde. Great couple, amazingly adventurous, beautifully filmed.
I am getting fond of this Josh Rosen fella with each episode.
Unapologetically himself and totally original. Looks like a solid guy to hang with. Would love to share a few cold ones with Josh.
And Dirt has become my favourite show to watch. Wish there was more content with Josh and Co.
People who haven't heard of Huckberry are actually missing out on the beauty of movie making and the joy food brings. Cooking shows are good but nothing comes close to the creativity this channel has. Amazing.
Dirt is showing how beautiful America is. Should win the best award if there is any in youtube.
Lou and Liz have got to be the coolest people on this series yet
You accomplished the impossible, friends - encapsulating the spirit of being a Texan and experiencing Texas into a consumable, relatable and inspiring short video. Bravo.
Native Texan here! Absolutely loved this
I live in deep South Texas on the border. There is really nothing better than good Mexican food, and there is obviously no shortage here. I have started making my own tortillas and am obsessed to the point that I have also welded up my own tortilla press. This episode was greatly appreciated.
The Texans at our Huckberry HQ couldn't agree with you more! Nothing better than fresh made tortillas.
Anyone else just rocking a grin for the whole episode, EVERY episode
This is as close to Bourdain as anything I’ve seen since. Well done, you made this Texan proud
Yes!!! I had a feeling this was coming!! Definitely deserves a part two!!!! Could probably consist of south and north eastern Texas!
Yes! Coastal bend, especially Rockport!
Best food show since Anthony Bourdain's 'Parts Unknown.' You all keep doing what you're doing! We're loving these!!
In just 3 episodes I've seen Josh snowboard, skate, surf, swim, bike, ride motorcycles and now run 2 miles with a 30 lb ruck sack. What an athlete. You all have really put together something special here that I haven't seen since one of Anthony Bourdain's series. I really appreciate all the effort that goes into each episode. Keep up the excellent work.
The Dirt should receive a freaking OSCAR! Amazing shots, edit, color, and story telling ! you guys rock!
I aint a TEXAN, but now I REALLY wanna be one! This series is absolutely my new fav thing of 2024! I heart all things DIRT 🤠
As always, this absolutely rips. Best series to come around in a long time.
This series keeps getting better and better. I appreciate this one being a bit longer as well. I'm always so sad when they end. Stoked for the next adventure
The gulf coast of Texas has some of the best food diversity in the US! Lots of seafood and diverse culture 😁
I very rarely like the way Texas is represented in travel vids, but I love this. You guys really captured the vibe, and as a born and raised Texan, that makes me really happy.
never stop this series. such quality content.
the truth is that we in Europe have a different America in mind when it comes to food.
in your episodes you have shown how rich in products and food it is.
congratulations
Been in Texas for 6 years now. Instead of trying to describe it to my friends and family out of state, I’m just going to send them this excellent show! Perfectly encapsulates my experience thus far. Way to go Dirt and Huckberry!
Too freaking good.
Props to the camera crew for getting dirty and creating magic.
The road goes on forever and the party never ends. What a great ep
Beautiful. This definitely warrants a Texas Part 2 and 3 and 10
I'm thousands of miles away and yet I felt like I was there with y'all. Top notch content right here, so thank you!
Best team, best show, best feel and intention in these videos !!
In dark times, this series is my happy place. Thanks guys (and gals).
I’m only halfway through and this is great. A true Anthony Bourdain feel which scratches a huuuge itch.
Hands down the best series on UA-cam...Josh Rosen you make it that way...Keep it UP!
There truly is no state or place even quite like Texas. An incredible place.. I’ll live there one day and I couldn’t imagine a better place to call home 🤠
DIRT is the best UA-cam series out there. More please!
Your unique narratives are truly unique, and beautifully written. I used to snowboard physically, but after paralysis I have found that I can still shred some fresh cheese (freshies) anytime I want… Whether summer, winter, or any time in between. After paralysis, your life completely changes, whether in sickness, or in health… AAAHHTTHHEEEMMM
I love this, Josh talks very similar the way Anthony Bourdain talks. Josh should definitely come to the Philippines too, eat Lechon, Sisig, and be merry.
This series is some of the coolest videos ive ever seen.
DIRT feeds my soul - thank you so much for publishing these
You sir, have a poetic lilt to your delicately constructed dialogue, that is very hypnotic. It accompanies the beautifully lensed pictograms magically. Bravo bravo bravo!
What a great series. Josh has really found the line in his elevated Everyman.
Didn't expect to see myself on a thumbnail today! God bless and thanks for coming out!
Love the video Huckberry!!!! 💖Josh rosen was a legend!!
Absolutely love these DIRT episodes...so much creative, cultural, historical, and edible context rolled into a visual work of art. Thank you for making these!
The excitement I feel whenever I see a new Dirt episode is unexplainable ! True beauty and love shown every episode
Forever grateful for UA-cam algorithms recommending this series! Amazing as always
Thanks again you guys! I dearly appreciate your show every single time! ❤
Your story telling is unmatched, watching all the way from Sydney makes me want to book a trip to Texas 🙏🙏
lol getting razzed for his white jeans. what a wild ride this episode was - kudos!
Excellent. Love how James Brand was sprinkled throughout this episode.
Josh is for sure the spirit of this show, but I absolutely love the editing of the Dirt videos!
We'll let the team know!
Absolutely love this series. Josh is an amazing host and story teller.
This was one of your most beautiful episodes ever. Thank you for being so real in everything you do. Dirt is probably one of the best shows on UA-cam right now!
Guys, you all are doing a great job with DIRT. This series makes us feel conected and motivated to go outside and explore. Everytime a new episode get posted, i just feel happy. Thanks everyone envolved and @huckberry 👏👏🤙
Huge respect for the content and production value. It's beautiful.
The best episode yet! Even got Robert Ellis in there. This is a core series showing the most authentic version of each destination.
We appreciate it!
Literally I watched this show on TV and just want to appreciate how much I loved this show I watched again on my cell phone so that I can comment and like the video😂
By far the best thing on UA-cam!
Can’t wait to see when North Carolina gets their episode 😁
As a native Texan you did our state justice. Beautiful video brother
DIRT is .... haaands down. one of the THE. BEST. show on youtube. I need more ....
We agree! We're working on some more fun episodes as we speak
Another amazing episode from the DIRT - Huckberry team. You guys rock. Great content, keep it coming.
Those Barbacoa tacos look amazing!
This was an amazing episode as always, but a series in Mexico needs to happen.
There's already a lot of documentaries in Mexico already 😂
@@DefensisIndus I'm sure there's a lot of documentaries on Texas and Japan but that didn't stop Huckberry...
@@this_charming_man11 Idk I'm Mexican too, I just feel like I see Mexico documentary everyday. This one was refreshing 😁
@@DefensisIndus Same here, and I know what you mean. There are both good and bad documentaries on Mexico, but I really love the DIRT series and crew, and I think a DIRT episode on Mexico would be cool because I know it would be done by people with good intentions.
Any recs on Mexico? Rich / Diverse culinary scene across the country, so we definitely wouldn't want to try and hit on the whole country in one episode!
"I like turtles" ifkyk 😂😅
Good filming, great Host (Josh), great information, so much appreciation and Love about foods and land!! Thank you!
The best series I ever seen I just can't stop watching I have seen every episode so far.. Can't wait for the next to come out .. Number one fan here . Out of PuertoRico 🇵🇷
Constantly looking out for the next DIRT ep - The music, the vibe, the people, the wholesome food, the adventure... the gift that keeps on giving! Maybe Cape Town would an adventure option one day - One can dream :)
Adding Cap Town to the list!
There better be a Part II coming very soon. Barely scratched the surface!
Texas is a big place 😂 Where should we check out next time we come back?
@@Huckberryco Houston is a must; the most underrated food scene in the US + incredible diversity. Galveston, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, etc - Seafood, Wild Game, Regenerative Farming, Local Produce, Foraging, etc... more than enough for an EP II & III
27:21 I've watched this interaction so many times over. The discovery and that laugh is great!
This is like a cross between Anthony and Matty’s shows!
Those burritos at 10:05 mixed with a cup of coffee are a one way ticket to the browns.... I'll take 3!
Dirt never misses
🙌
Fantastic as always! Great to see the amazing Jamestown Revival make an appearance too! 🍻
The best food show on UA-cam! Always so pumped when i see a new vid drop!
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand STILL! The best series on UA-cam!! 😍
Once again folks, pure perfection! Keep 'em rolling in.
An incredible series. It an easy food journey that is not so secretly telling you how to be a bit cooler.
Guys I love your show so much, you are able to touch my heart every time. Thank you and keep up the great work!
Never thought I’d see 9th street featured on this series but here we are.
The best series on UA-cam! 🔥
This is a great series. Selfishly, I want more of these, but I get the time it takes to produce a solid show.
We hear ya! Stay tuned!
Yes! Been waiting for this to drop and it didn't disappoint. Fair play to Josh for riding the bull.... The endo on the BMX needs work though... 😂👍
Agreed 😂
I’m glad I watched this!! I love Jamestown revival!!! ❤❤❤
Best episode to date. DiRT is the greatest show out! ❤
I can’t get enough of DIRT! When is the next series coming?
Another GREAT VLOG, in My Adopted State of Texas…16-years 🤠
BEAUTIFUL, we need more state's DIRT like this.
When the Jerry Jeff cued I almost cried.
The level of production quality and the authenticity has been a treat to watch. Waiting patiently for the next one to drop!
Where should we go next?
@@Huckberryco Keeping in mind the ethos of the DIRT series, somewhere like a Peru or Brazil with the Amazonian influences would be a great watch through your lens!
@@Huckberryco Scotland!
Didn’t expect to see Taconeta on my UA-cam feed this morning, you guys killed the EP portion.
Awesome to see you in my home state, wish you could visit the coast and San Antonio, but still cool.
First DIRT episode. Great production, info.
This channel never disappoint me ............. Thank You
Congrats to the editing, video capture and story telling. Really enjoyed the whole story. Thanks. (Plus the cool voiceover - well done)
I love seeing this show pop up in the feed. :)
single best youtube video pice Ive seen! absolute masterpiece - period!
We need 1hour of this! So good!!
Josh’s comments made me think of that Robert Earl Keen song… “it’s kind like going down the freeway at 90 mph and just chuckin the steerin wheel out the window”
This series is fantastic but badly needs a few Canadian episodes. Everything from Quebec city to Calgary and Vancouver to the Maritimes! I look forward to seeing some one day.
Thanks for the recs. Have to add it to our list!
I've long suspected this one was coming, and I'm glad it's here.
It was time DIRT took on the Lone Star State!
@@Huckberryco It’s your home and mine, and so far y’all picked some damned good places to Chex out. I love this series. Thanks guys.
Love Texas. Thank you for this great episode
