Cool Rig! I fell in love with the original Scrambler when it was introduced. That said, I was quite distracted by Mandy's "guns." Holy Cow! The enemy is lucky she's not still on active duty! Lol. Veteran to Veteran, thanks for your service Mandy (and I assume your husband's as well). Good luck in the competition!
@@BlueRidgeOverlandGear With you on that! Btw, it's awesome that you reply to all the comments. As the business and channel grow, that will become increasingly difficult. When that happens, those of us here from (or, close to) the start will know where your heart is. Have a great weekend!
I don't thing gas inside a bumber is vdot approved idea, but water it is cool idea I would use it. Diesel would b less extreme crazy but yeah just water bumper.
Surprisingly, at speed, enough air goes around those. The issue is slow-speed and the heat having no way out. The vented hoods help that hot air rise out rather than getting trapped. A bigger fan never hurts. I know Dan Grec ran two fans in his Africa JKUR.
Kinda. You can get the half-cab hardtop which will fit the 2dr, but the JK8's were the longer wheelbase built on the 4dr chassis. Same idea as an LJ being longer than a TJ or a CJ8 being longer than a CJ7.
Personal preference. It's nice having a dry space for some gear storage while still having space outside of there, plus you can stack on top of the box. Still plenty of space for coolers, water jugs, etc in the bed, plus space on the rack.
I want an original J8. The diesel pickup with 1-ton payload used in military applications.
Cool conversion and it works
Yeah, the mil-spec J8's also had a Dana60. Pure beef. Such a shame you could never buy one on the civilian market.
Thank you!
Awesome looking rig!! Thanks for this I really like the way you do the walkarounds and in-depth look inside
Glad you enjoyed it. We try to do one walk-around a month. We try to cover as many details about the builds as we can, but still keep it watchable.
Thank you!
@@hemispheresunited7759 I'd love to buy this if you ever think about selling :)
Much respect to this build incoming from NJ, that's really clean!! 👏👏
It's a solid rig!

The CJ8 is why I have two LJ's. Love the longer 2dr Jeeps. If I went with a JK or JL I'd have to do a J8 conversion.

We do our best. Odd saying I get paid to stay on UA-cam, IG, and FB all day... but I do. There are worse jobs to have. LoL
@@BlueRidgeOverlandGear Indeed there are! Port-a-Potty Pumper comes to mind 😉
Ha, sorry to distract you with my "guns." Thanks, CrossFit! Thanks for the great comments on the rig!
I been pulling the same trailer for the past 3 years and we enjoy it it work really well off road
Awesome Jeep. Good luck in the rally!
I'm sure they will crush it!
Thank you so much!
AWESOME RIG👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
We thought so!
Thanks so much!
Great walkaround lady! Best of luck in the rally.
They will be a force to be reckoned with!
Thanks so much!
Great Jeep! And good luck on the rally !
We hope to do a walk-around with their Rebelle Rally Jeep next year after the rally, so stay tuned!
Thank you! We appreciate it!
Dang!!! 2 chock blocks. Now I know where mine went. I bet you have my drip pans too. 🤣🤣🤣
Gorgeous
Love it !!
The grate behind the grill of new Gladiators is twice as big honey comb as jeep 1s.
Yeah, can't go wrong with more cooling capacity. Especially with the tow-rating of the Gladiator.
Where do I can buy the conversion kit?
It was available through the dealer as an official Mopar kit, but to my knowledge they are out of production.
I believe it was a limited run for a few years through Mopar.
I don't thing gas inside a bumber is vdot approved idea, but water it is cool idea I would use it. Diesel would b less extreme crazy but yeah just water bumper.
Same. Not even sure I'd put potable water in there. But enough water to rinse gear and boots wouldn't be a bad idea.
Agreed, our plan was for water on longer trips.
Those big extra headlights actual lights not shirt joke r blocking air part of engine heat problem. still at 200k so can't b to big a deal.
Surprisingly, at speed, enough air goes around those. The issue is slow-speed and the heat having no way out. The vented hoods help that hot air rise out rather than getting trapped. A bigger fan never hurts. I know Dan Grec ran two fans in his Africa JKUR.
Still plenty of room for air. No issues and we've had the lights on for a long time.
Can I convert my 2 door wrangler in to jk-8?
Kinda. You can get the half-cab hardtop which will fit the 2dr, but the JK8's were the longer wheelbase built on the 4dr chassis. Same idea as an LJ being longer than a TJ or a CJ8 being longer than a CJ7.
That storage trunk defeats the whole pick up truck thing and should just enclose the whole back end for more dry, interior storage.
Enclosing the backend defeats the conversion.
Personal preference. It's nice having a dry space for some gear storage while still having space outside of there, plus you can stack on top of the box. Still plenty of space for coolers, water jugs, etc in the bed, plus space on the rack.
200k ppl want to know the particulars in spread sheet type format or the highlights, of repairs.
