These palace were built by gond king hirday shah in 1667 AD at the bank of holy narma river .
Moti mahal was built by king hirday shah for himself and his family .Ray bhagat ki kothi also known as mantri mahal was constructed by king hirday shah for his minister deevan ray bhagat . this palace is also known as ministerial palace. Begam Mahal is situated about 3 kilometers away from the Moti Mahal, it is also called Rani mahal . The Rani Mahal was built by King Hriday Shah for chimney rani.
