That State is never going to sub-categorise the SC reservation for the fear of losing popular support. The Courts had to intervene to ensure those who've already benefitted out of the reservation system for Scheduled Castes, and are now at par with the rest of the general public, do not continue with the same privileges to the detriment of others. This is a great, historic step taken by the honourable Supreme Court.
