lol matt, i love the little remarks and comments you make while you're cleaning your car. Theyre like the stuff i say in my head when i am detailing my car alone by myself lol
In your own time Matt for that ultimate dialed in Garage. Gotta make your wife happy too with that cool kitchen you've remodeled. I find it's a chance for you to tweak other areas that are necessary.
Matt, have you talked to any upholstery shops about repairing your seats? They can rip seams and install new material where it is damaged. Possibilities are endless, you could add alcantara inserts.
Wish I could help out, unfortunately NW PA is a little out of reach. This entire OG project is so intriguing to me. I hope college yields something this awesome for me to work on. P.S. I still expect a get together of sorts when you visit PA again!
Backwards hat, edgy! Changed up my routine and listened to 9 hours worth of podcasts today instead of music. Loved all of them, keep up the good content!
Great video Matt, have you ever thought about painting your floor where you wash the cars? Since it's gonna be a bit before you build your garage. Just a thought. Seats looks awesome by the way:)
Matt, did you ever get your Amazon account sorted out? I was looking at this Leatherique kit on Amazon via the OG site and wondered if you'd get credit for the sale or not.
So even after cleaning the rejuvanator keeps pulling up body oils and gunk?..like in this scenario with the Honda, are you expecting more body oil and gunk to keep coming to the surface after you reinstall the seats from the initial cleaning? ..i probably have it backwards but i think i understand what your saying. .thanks Matt and i enjoy your channel.
Hey Matt I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt but your leather looks like just got cleaned with all purpose cleaner and nothing else. Is there any evidence that this process extendes the life of the leather? If there is I'll buy it, do the process and then coat the seats
The thing is I want both, soft conditioned if it's needed leather and protected for long periods of time because I'm dealing with family members that don't take care of them with pets and kids involved
Matt you should hire the guy from those dry eyes commercials to do commentary for your videos, it would liven things up a bit.....holy shit dude. How on earth does one sit through 30 min of you rubbing down a couple car seats while you drone on with the personality of Ben Stein. Great sleep aide though
John Perez like paint drying?? That be more entertaining 😂 look I get it, dude is giving you guys quality info and I'm sure it's a huge help but DAMN try putting a little inflection in your words.
Obsessed Garage absolutely! You have plenty of subs and views that prove it and your knowledge is impeccable. We can't all be the Jim Careys and Kevin Hart's of the world I know and if your fans are taking in what you're putting out I guess that's all that matters.
I think the reason why this is successful is that others can identify with my plight. I started making these videos as an outlet to get out of my own head. I don't want to watch videos with the same old crappy EDM playing and someone give me surface information. I want the whole story and the choice to skip around. So that's what I'm making. Some like it, some don't. Both are cool with me.

I hope this project s2000 starts up soon been following!
Enjoyed this video as usual. You always do a great job - keep up the great vids and don't let the haters get to you.
Maybe you could show a video tour of that new kitchen as well :)
I'll probably do a house tour when I get all these workers out of my house. We are almost done.

I put 3M clear film on my stainless steel work surface. Works great, no scratches. You may want to try it.

That's the plan. I called a major shop in Orlando. I'm probably going to go see them about it at some point.

Dam that looks amazing Matt definitely going to do this to my S2000
Thanks.
Backwards hat, edgy! Changed up my routine and listened to 9 hours worth of podcasts today instead of music. Loved all of them, keep up the good content!
That's me bro. Too cool for my own good. Ha... I like that hat, but it only fits backwards.
Still gotta get that shirt. Seats look good
How do I restore fabric seats? I see everybody do leather.
Matt are you still using Leatherique? Just got an 08 S that I'll need to maintain. Enjoy your videos as you are willing to go into detail.
No, I find it doesn't work well on modern leather.
Great video Matt, have you ever thought about painting your floor where you wash the cars? Since it's gonna be a bit before you build your garage. Just a thought. Seats looks awesome by the way:)
I'm going to end up doing drains and refinishing the concrete at some point.
nice hat
Esoteric says to not use cleaner first but second?
where do i get that sprayer for prestine clean?
Are you gonna start a s2000 journal on s2k forums?
www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-gallery-12/money2536s-silverstone-ap2-s2000-journal-1172380/
Another therapeutic video. Thanks!
Maybe my depth perception is off but it looks like you're dangerously close to that TV. Do you ever use it?
I use it occasionally. I used to use the TV all the time before I started making videos.
Any concern on doing this same method if the seats have ventilator holes in them?
I don't think so.
I'm thinking, just lay the seat on its back if you have done the bottom part of the seat, then the upper becomes the lower! :) Ah well, looks great!
How bout leaving links to the items and products you use in your videos?
JT Lovaglio Google leatherique... its not hard.
thanks genius. lol I'm talking about all of his videos.
Go to the obsessed garage website. He has a great page detailing (pun)all of the products he uses.
I've been to the site all I see are the items that he has for sale, including equipment I purchased.
it's under "the gear"
looks good
Matt, did you ever get your Amazon account sorted out? I was looking at this Leatherique kit on Amazon via the OG site and wondered if you'd get credit for the sale or not.
I did.
What was the name of the other brand of leather cleaner he mentions?
Swissvax and Colourlock
I hate that nasty shiny leather look. *SO* glad I re-found this channel :)
hey Matt..you mention natural oils within your car seats..could you shed some light on what natural oils are within modern car leather?..thanks again
I said that?
you said oils being released if leather was in the sun..just curious what oils your talking about. .no biggie
I meant body oils and gunk built up. The Rejuvantor pulls that stuff to the surface.
It can happen, but I doubt it with these seats. They are pretty clean, and I only left the Rejuvantor on for 24 hours.
'The pump is directional'
Plumber you say :D.
Hey Matt, what do you recommend i use to clean alcantera?
Sonax Alcantara Cleaner
ua-cam.com/video/PsqCtvaNsHM/v-deo.html
Thanks!
you needed better shot of the dirty bucket water at end
Cool toothbrush
the S2000 looks better with the vinyl top.

I don't subscribe to coating leather from companies that don't specialize in leather. Leatherique seems to work fine for me.
The thing is I want both, soft conditioned if it's needed leather and protected for long periods of time because I'm dealing with family members that don't take care of them with pets and kids involved
why are you so cool wearing your hat backwards wish I could be cool like you
That hat fits better backwards. Don't be a douche.
Lol jesus it was a joke! I apologize if you got offended
I watch every video!
Hey

William Whaley damn you really don't understand him so stop the hate and watch something more appropriate for your brain
John Perez like paint drying?? That be more entertaining 😂 look I get it, dude is giving you guys quality info and I'm sure it's a huge help but DAMN try putting a little inflection in your words.
Some people must like it. One thing you have to give me is that I'm authentic. I'm not going to fake it.
