I was in high school in 2004 when Splendor came out and I picked it up at a Tower Records in Brea, CA. It fuckin blew me away and I still listen to that album regularly. When you guys came back with The Liberation it was such a treat, and it's been so fucking awesome seeing all this content between the records and the performances.
Much love from Southern California. You guys have been so important to me for twenty fuckin years man. Keep going :)
I have to admit, I was not expecting the audio for this stream to be so damn good. It's excellent, quite frankly! Every instrument sounds so clear and audible, it's actually preferable to the studio record at many moments! Well done my lads, I hope you're all proud of yourselves (that goes for the crew too)

Simply amazing music and musicians
Back to times of splendor transcends music. A pure piece of art, and one of my favourites.
My word... no one would ever have blamed any of you if the studio material was too ambitious to completely execute live without some compromises... but this has SUCH an unbelievably fierce energy, and the parts are so stacked up. The goosebumps, damn it, the tears!!! I really enjoyed the stream, but hearing it balanced out with both channels of audio, I'll be back over and over to enjoy this. Money is a bit tight right now, but I'll get a ticket when I get paid. Thank you so much. You've been a huge part of my life when it has really mattered since 2004.

I bought this live cast and let me tell you, when they played Back to Times of Splendor, I was over the roof!!! I bought that record on a whim when it came out and have been in love ever since!
Back To Times Of Splender... es ist einfach nach wie vor einer meine absoluten Lieblingslieder! so ein geiler Song und ihn hier immer und immer wieder in voller Länge Live zu genießen... einfach fantastisch!

3 super guitarists in one band... Magnificent...
Best album of 2019, superb live concert in february 2020 (Die Kantine) and this livestream is perfect as well. And The Liberation is, for me, one of the best and most meaningfull albums ever.
You can really hear the added awesomeness of 3 guitars and singers. Alone I stand in Fires sounds HEAVY. Not to take away from the amazing drumming, bass, acoustic guitar and trumpet.
The best surprise was "Alea", fully played. And that slapping bass at the beginning, along with the drums... the solo is really beautiful.
One of my favorite songs, period. That song meant a lot to me at a time when the lyrics really coincided with events in my life. "And I weep/sing in the summer wind, arms wide open, ready to dive."
Thank you very much from the USA...I always wanted to see you live and this is a wonderful opportunity!

Just discovered Disillusion from meeting the drummer, Martin, in Rocamadour and having a very pleasant conversation with him. Excellent music, orchestral blended with Heavy Metal filled with such energy. Thanks Martin. Good luck to you and the Band for the Future. See you in the Albert Hall sometime in the near Future.

I must admit I missed my favorite song "The Liberation" in your setlist but on the other hand I already saw it live in Hamburg :) Thank you for the show! Je pensais qu'au bout de 20 écoutes ... Mais il m'étonne encore :passages instrumentaux planants, rugissants, agressifs ou simplement beaux ce groupe continue de m'épater de m'en mettre plein les oreilles de prendre mon pied (ou plutôt mes oreilles encore!) à quand un petit passage à Sarrebruck???????

I had to revisit this gem of a livestream. Your music is such a perfect blend of the beautiful and the brutal! And the ending to The Mountain with the two guitar solos hits me every single time. Close to a religious experience! Looking forward to new music from you guys.

Pretty sure the sound has been improved/remixed. Also the long break in the beginning was cut.

@@lenni-hazels yes. We cut the beginning as 10 min of nothing are not the way a video should start. No remix. Just the full audio signal this time (for some reasons the stream sent only the right side of the stereo signal). But you are absolutely right, this is defitinely an improvement. Enjoy. :)
11:20 What's going on here with the strumming on the guitar? Is he actually strumming just at a higher spot, or is he just air strumming for some reason? I haven't seen that before.
just strumming higher. I usually do that for smoother playing. Strings have less tension on that zone
