Not the major I want but it's still interesting to hear, checked out the campus on the tour today and it's definitely where I want to be. I forgot to ask about how many books you'd need and if there was somewhere/someone I could get them used or buy them off a former cadet? Or maybe some class doesn't even use the book so it's not necessary to buy at all? Btw there are a lot of bikes around , I'm guessing that's a preferred choice of getting to class
Michael Kostrukoff I'm trying for Marine Transportation, the guides I had were two dudes, Colby that had glasses and Will that had a medium build, they said they were both transfer students. They were really helpful and threw comments/information back and forth having their own type of style, even telling a couple of cool experiences about their summer "cruise". It made them very relatable and easy to talk to instead of a generic tour guide(which I also experienced from doing that upper dorm tour from noon-1:45 with a cadet I don't remember) How was your guide/s because I feel like I got lucky with these guys, unless all the students are that awesome, that would be a lot to live up to😕. BTW: A tip they gave us was to stay living on the ship for both semesters because the laundry on board is Free instead of $1 per load on shore.
Nick Edds Mine were pretty awesome, they were volunteers so probably not representative of the school as a whole. I’m trying for Marine Engineering Tech myself and saw some really cool prospestive students.
