It's really hard to imagine the Lower Res floors made of linoleum. If you haven't heard already, the floors have been remodeled to carpet only at the beginning of last year.
Hey bryan, can you tell us a little bit about the marine engineering major? Things like how many MET majors are on campus and how dificult it might be to get into the marine engineering major and any tips for a junior in high school wanting to apply as a MET major next year? Really enjoying the vlogs so far!
Ricardo Estrada it’s not that hard to get into MET if you have like a 3.0 in high school. Try to take precalc/calc now and it’s best to have taken chem and calc in HS as well. Good luck
All the prior enlisted wore the cadet uniforms, however they were allowed to wear their ribbons with them. I do not believe that has changed but I am also not entirely sure.
I plan on enlisting in the coast guard as a boatswains mate (versatile deck operations specialist, navigator, driver of the boat type person) after four years of service, I should finish at a ranking of petty officer 3rd class (aiming to reach 2nd class) I'm a senior in HS right now. Should I be fine if i go to start my 4 years at CMA after the C.G (at age 23?) Will my experience give me a big advantage or will my age be a disadvantage?
I’m in the Coast Guard right now if you’re trying to go to this school then go to this school now instead of later unless using GI bill. Coast Guard will train you a lot and if you’re motivated can get up to 100 ton I think. It’ll be great experience. I’m an electrician land side for this tour whose gonna go to this school but I’ll be 27 for the engineering program.

Why did you decide to switch majors?
If I am active duty military can I wear my own uniform or am I forced to wear the cadet uniforms?

How's the diversity at the school! I hear a large percentage of cadets are male, is it noticeable? if it is how is it being in a school like that.
