@@YourWifesBoyfriend The cops arrested a bystander watching a protest (he is a nurse, and was there taking photos of buildings as part of his photography hobby). She charged him with being in a gang, and being part of a riot....she had no evidence, so she lied to a grand jury to prosecute him anyway, and referenced other 'evidence' she had to the grand jury that didn't exist. Now that she is fired, her other cases were distributed to other prosecutors and they are finding many more cases where she lied, knowingly charged people who were innocent, over-prosecuted people, etc. Here she is doubling down on her actions...telling her bar association that lying to a grand jury and putting innocent people in jail is a-ok, and that she'd do it again.

Prosecutors have sent people to prison for decades never been prosecuted themselves for misconduct. Worst thing that can ever happen is they get disbarred. They have nothing to lose defendants have everything to lose. This is why so many take plea deals because juries are generally not too bright and are easily swayed by a prosecutor. Many times they don't understand the law they are not attorney's they haven't spent years learning the law. Judge only reads a few pages to the jury sends them off to decide your fate. Lot of times a jury will bully person who wants to hold out on conviction trials are decided by 1/4 of the jury in most cases. Jury trials result in conviction 85% of the time in State trials and 90% in Federal trials.

Being on a sidewalk taking pictures is not against the law in fact it's a constitutionally protected activity. She needs to face the same decades as she was so willing to impose on others and using her own logic for prosecution. Just because she says she was allegedly basing her convictions on information she had or didn't have doesn't mean she didn't actually want to prosecute a person she knew to be innocent just because she was or wasn't informed of something earlier in the case. I'll bet she will see the problem real quick on her way to prison.

How could she be making decisions based on information she never got? The really disturbing part of it is that if that guy taking pics hadn't been swept up in it the cops and this crazy woman would have gotten away with it.
