THAI AIRWAYS B 747-4D7 HS-TGM BANGKOK - OSAKA (KIX), FEBRUARY 17, 2000
Being invited for a business trip to Bangkok, I boarded this Thai flight in February, 2000. This video features the return flight back to Osaka-Kansai airport onboard Thai Airways B 747-4D7 HS-TGM “Chao Praya” from Bangkok.
History of Thai Airways B 747-4D7 “Chao Praya”
Airframe 27093 was manufactured 1992 and delivered to Thai Airways International, registered HS-TGM and named “Chao Phraya”, November 4, 1992. HS-TGM was withdrawn from use, December 31, 2013 and ferried to Mojave (MHV), California for storage and scrapping, December 22, 2014.
Although a B 747-400 is not a “Classic” Airliner, I decided to include all my published videos under my label “The Sights & Sounds of Classic Aviation”, because Classic Airliners form the main focus of my documentaries.

Amazing video on TG B747-400 to KIX. Great sound and good seat view. The flights on TG B747-400 to LAX via KIX were great back then before the A340-500. A340-500 was not successful on LAX routes and B777 routes via ICN. Now TG no longer fly to LAX it is sad.
