Not only is the owner of Florence Pizza in Ilford's Ley Street the restaurant's pizzaiolo (pizza chef), but also boasts over a decade of experience, having acquired and honed his skills in Italy itself.
And he has been committed to delivering authentic Italian pizzas that are fully Halal, including sourcing high quality ingredients directly from Italy, ever since launching this pizzeria in 2021.
While he uses mozzarella cheese in place of the inferior cheddar, both the tomato sauce and the flour used in making his pizzas, as well as some other ingredients such as the olive oil, artichokes, and olives, are all Italian in origin.

As someone who used to own a halal Italian pizzeria I can say they have almost every base covered except for the sauce, although it may be good, it can be improved with a few herbs, olive oil etc.
