By the way, to all the people commenting that she's a bad teacher, and that this tutorial is too hard, try all of the other ones by the Japanese and Chinese ingenues- they make gorgeous roses but they don't walk you through it and those ones are damn near impossible to finish. Having someone actually take the time and go through all the steps for you is a godsend. Quit bitching. This is a difficult thing to make, period. No amount of mollycoddling with change that. But at least with this video you have clear concise instructions. Be thankful for that.

It doesn't have to be a waste if paper. You can be creative and turn it into something else because if you don't use it for something else, it's you who's wasting the paper. And she obviously didn't intend to waste your paper.

This was really easy for me and I would recommend this for oragami people that do alot of difficult oragami like me. But if your are starting to do oragami and do the little things, I dont think this would be the right for you.

Are you currently working on any projects? I work at a local restaurant in my hometown and I’ve made stuff there for Christmas. I need something that I can put on about 30 tables but something that won’t take a toll on my carpel tunnel. I’ve searched for things on youtube, but most everything seemed too time consuming for my schedule. I’ll even do kirigami instead of origami if necessary.
First of all It's a lovely model. I've been doing origami for a long time (almost 40yrs). All I hear is she's stupid. You're stupid for saying that in the first place. She put a lot of hard work and time to make the video. You wouldn't like it if someone degraded your work. Would you? I don't think so. For all of you who say it's too fast, go to the settings tab ( to the right of close caption {cc} button) and slow the video down for all of you remedial mofo's. Stop whining and try it. If at first you don't succeed try again. I don't always get it on the first try, but I don't bitch, whine and criticize either. Social Media is a trip. Most people only have something negative to say. If you have nothing good to say then don't say shit. Real talk.

i don't recommend this to people who:
-need this done QUICKLY (it takes time. i used it to pass time, so this was good for me)
-are impatient (it took lots of tries to get it right- in my case)
-want it to look a certain way (many people have been saying it doesn't look like a rose)
