Enjoyed both this video and the test drive that goes with it. My only concern is your dissing of the Auto Start Stop feature. Agree that Cold Starts are where a lot of engine wear occurs; however, the auto start/stop feature will not operate until the engine is warmed up with plenty of oil clinging to all the wear surfaces. Starting and stopping a warm engine with oil still clinging to all the warm parts will NOT cause a great deal of engine wear.

While I agree to an extent, I think the negligible mpg gain isn’t worth it versus the older system of solid running it. I do hope all engines only do it upon warmup but that hasn’t been my experience with the few that I’ve driven so far and kept on.

      I live in MS.
I don’t want the a/c off at every stop light.

To my knowledge battery operated parts stay on in many cars, so A/C might stay on? Not sure 100%

I was in a friend’s new loaded f150 probably 6 years ago. At every stop light the a/c started blowing warm air and you could tell the compressor was off.
He looked embarrassed and angry. He said the dealer told him that’s how it’s supposed to work.
      Maybe it’s changed since then?
