내가 진심으로 아이유를 가수보다 연기자로 본 드라마였다. 내가 연기에 대한 전문 지식도 뭐도 없지만 개인적으로 아이유 이 드라마에서 연기 만큼은 최고라는 말만 생각이 난다. 아이유 너의 연기에 큰 감명을 받았고 감동을 받았으며, 나 자신을 돌아보는 계기가 되었어....너의 훌륭한 연기에 아낌 없는 박수를 보낸다.
처음 느껴보는 따뜻한 호의, 자신을 도와주는 그 사람의 말,행동,발소리 하나하나 너무 좋아서 감정은 점점 커지는데 그와 대비되게 자신은 사람을 죽인 살인자에 빚쟁이, 부모님도 없이 몸이 불편하신 할머니 모시고 사는데다가 심지어 자기가 좋아하는 사람 도청하고 있는 범죄자이니 안 그래도 자기혐오가 심한 이지안인데 속에선 점점 괴리감이 커졌겠죠. 이번 장면에서 그게 터진 것 같습니다.

This drama just keeps getting better and better. I've seen a lot of Kdramas but this is the first one that I've watched 3x per episode. The chemistry between Lee Sun Kyun and IU is just amazing, it sucks you in.
Okay, Jian might actually have some feelings for ahjussi but I am pretty sure the biggest reason why she does a such an act is because she figured out someone was following them to take a pic ( for scandal ) and she does that so it looks like ahjussi is refusing the whole relationship. She is doing that to protect her ahjussi, she knows that he will get fired from his work if a weird scandal between her and ahjussi starts spreading.
KC Choi it’s kinda obvious she had feelings for him. She wants to protect him from the photographer to get the director position. She cares too much about him at this point
After I watched the whole episode, I actually can understand about how jian feels about ahjussi, she loves him, but she didn't force him to love her back, and this ahjussi are really confused of his own feeling, especially about what he will do with his cheater wife, it's complicated but romantic in it's own way, I really fell in love with this drama :")
Congratulations tvN for this wonderful drama "MY MISTER". The screenplay is brilliant, the cinematography captivates so well the ordinary every day lives of ordinary people with their daily struggles.. The actors have been doing an excellent job in portraying their roles. This is a very good and tough drama. I can't wait for the next episode to come. Sometimes we need to be remembered about the real life and be grateful to everyone taking on the heavy task and risks of doing so. Thank you.💖🍀
It's pretty obvious that she's protecting him here. Although most of it has been an act for the camera to catch him deliberately hitting her, I'm pretty sure there's some truth in her confession. You can tell when she's walking away, she's both frustrated and humiliated that her feelings had to be revealed like this and you can tell she really does care about him. It's honeslty really interesting because this is the most physical contact I have seen between the two, and we're already 10 episodes in. :') Tbh, I'm not expecting a romance. The drama is probably going to end as realistic as it has been. Even if he does end things with his wife, it's simply not realistic to end up with someone 20 years younger. It's obvious that the drama serves one purpose: to heal. This drama has ascended further than just a typical romance drama. Rather than romance, I just truly want to see the both of them genuinely finally happy.
Larissa Yu I agree with your comment and maybe this is how the drama is meant to be written. I like that Ji An and Dong Hoon heal each other , but sometimes seeing their chemistry and how much they care for each other, I really hope that there can be some romance or ending on an open note for romance. Romance may not have to take central stage in the drama but can still be a sideline plot, especially since they are happy together and I hope his wife divorces with him

It breaks my heart to see these two LITERAL soulmates so conflicted with one another.... But this opens up many possibilities in their relationship. Hopefully good things come out of this.
I do feel that JiAn likes him but I believe the reason is because he is the first person treated her so well other than her grandma. And I think ahjussi is not, he just treat her as sister and he wants to help her. No romance between them is definitely ok for me, because I rather prefer the ending with every character to live happily and life becomes better, thats more than enough. Even there is no romance, you can still sense their chemistry is overflowing though, thats amazing.

I can see that actually she likes him in non romantically way. Jian's only 20 years old (21 in korean tbh) this year. I'm sure she never feel what is love in romantic ways. The thing is Donghoon helps and treats her so nice. It's not like how other good guys that always help her too. And the statement by Joonyoung, that eat and drink together with Donghoon is a sign that he likes her, makes her confused with her feelings. But i'm totally understand if she feels like that. She just doesnt have any experience of that.

Noriko well... thanks for the feedback :) I admit that i choose the wrong sentence for that. Since I'm over 20 years old, I admit that 20 years old girl cannot be seen as a kid. Maybe it's because of my perspective by seeing her story, Jian has been working really hard since she was a child. She's not living the way people in her age lives normally, for example attending junior high school properly (she drops out. And for sure she didn't attend senior high school), because she has to pay her mother's debt. Well, since the writer for sure doesnt have time to reveal how Jian exactly lives when she was young, i know that we can't make conclusion that she never likes someone in romantic way. But, well from what I see in drama, I'll say that I'm not that sure that Jian has been liking someone in romantic way. Maybe that's what I can say for your feedback. Once again, thank you:)
Alyah Amalia Well, I think Ji An is a matured lady shaped by her circumstances. Although she may be inexperienced in love, I think she knows what love is and how she feels. Her age is not an issue.
I still watched this scene after My Ajusshi ended. The best scene of actress Lee Jieun in my opinion. Intense, explosive, & thought provoking. This was her moment of acting prowess & oh boy she didn’t disappoint. She was subtle but had enough punch to take over the entire scene. Beautifully acted.

Nah, actually, It's just a feeling, not about their words, their gesture, ... but when their eyes contact, we know that they cared about each other in that vast and tiring world of hatred, beytral and lonely ... It's touching me.
Obviously, there is loveline btw them. Yes, She is trying to protect him. But she is confessing her feeling at the same time. And ahjussi, just look at his eyes. I don't know they can end up together or not, yet they are in love with each other for sure.

Jian's character has never lied. She confessed her love while trying to save Doo Hoon. Doo Hoon like her too but will never divorce his wife because it will destroy his family. He rather carry the thousand pound of weight on his shoulder than to hurt his family. Yun Hee knows this and will ask for the divorce.
Why do people get so worked up trying to figure out how they feel bout each other. For me its pretty OBVIOUS she loves him and he loves her too. You dont say 너 집에 가 with that finger moving while walking away if you dont feel anything. You do it cause u dont wanna aknowledge what uve been feeling since the beginning. It dossnt matter if they end phisically together in a relationship, love is more than that. They love each other, its obvious and its enough ☺️
I agree! If he really only saw her as a poor child to take care of and give charity to, I feel like he would have immediately taken the fatherly role and kindly but firmly turned her down. The way he pretty much ran away when she confessed said a lot. He even got angry a couple times there--calling her a crazy bitch when she asked him if he liked her too (which was really out of character for someone so gentle and mild-mannered) and hitting her when she screamed "Donghoon Park likes Jian Lee", which we know he would normally never ever do. It seems like he subconsciously knows that he feels more for her than is socially acceptable and is doing everything he can not to acknowledge it. We're talking about someone who got his own brothers caught for sneaking money even though he knew that they needed it and it wouldn't be missed. Not that what they did was right, but my point is that not even familial love trumps his sense of "right" for him. I have a feeling that even if he does come to terms with his feelings by the end of the drama, he will never let himself be with Jian in that sense. That's fine with me, though. In my opinion, the line they keep between them despite their feelings is what makes their relationship so compelling.
Yeah, I think you're right. He was definitely wavering there. Their expressions, voices, reactions--everything about this scene was so much softer compared to the kiss scene. It was outright rejection then, and this time it was just avoidance. He only got angry (or panicked?) when she brought his feelings into question. But even then, he never said "you're wrong, I don't like you". I guess this is the real "temptation" that was hinted at in the earlier episodes. And I guess we'll see if that line about his not knowing whether or not he's strong against temptation was also foreshadowing. Who wouldn't love Donghoon? Seriously, even the Knetizens who were all against any romance between them because of the age gap were like "I understand why Jian's in love with him." Because there's no way anyone wouldn't fall in love with someone like him. Ahhh what do I do with myself until the next episode!!! >
Exact, exact. Dong Hoon feels something too. He was shaken and had to flee. Obviously he is in conflict because, as Ji An said after almost kissing him, he struggles to stay correct even if to suffocat so many things it is a prison that is making his life so miserable (obviously his discomfort with the world has existential reasons also, he said that his name means nothing and that is very sujestivo to the emptiness that feels the character) It seems that everything Ji An is talking about is true (she rarely lies to him, when he asked the worst thing she had killed she told the truth even this matter being costly to her). she said it because it was necessary to protect him, even though it will make him walk away. About their relationship. Expectation sucks. Initially, I could not sort out what was happening and was desperate to name what I was seeing. But I understood that waiting for a romance disrupts the experience with drama (not wanting a romance too). This limits your vision. What they are delivering is much larger than that. It's about meeting and understanding. Get to know a person deeply, because you and he are made of the same material. See how the song lyrics A million roses that plays in the drama describes this well: " What is real love, I had painful tears. It was such a painful world where I passed by many lovers Many years passed I finally found a love that I can give my entire life to ". These characters are complex and their relationship is different from the ordinary, we do not know how this will end, it's like real life.
Thats true in ep 9 she keep thinking about what ceo said if she eat and drink with him means that he likes her.. she cant stop think about him until she run just to see him after he done drinking with his family .. she really in love with him..
I just want Park Dong Hoon divorce his wife, wether he and Ji Ahn will end up in a romance relationship or not. Because his wife only make him sad..this ajusshi is too good to be true and Ji Ahn is so precious and pure..wondering how this story will end. 😁😁

¡¡¡¡No sé que pensar!!!!, me confunde su relación... Honestamente no se siente como si fueran a ser solo amigos o una relación de padre hija/hermana menor etc (de verdad la química es muy buena), ella por su lado se nota que comienza a sentir algo por él... Incluso como lo mira la delata y su confesión fingida se siente en el fondo con algo de realidad, por su parte él... Él me tiene tan confundida osea no parece que la ame pero en esta escena final me ha dejado muy sorprendida... Ella comienza a "declararle su amor" y él no quiere escucharlo (es como si no quisiera saber o darse cuenta que podría haber algo más entre su simple relación de compasión o amistad) luego cuando ella le pregunta ¿te gusto?... Las dos veces él se reserva a dar una respuesta simplemente no aclaro nada con ella (reservó su opinión ¿por qué?, en dado caso es más fácil hacerle entender a ella que solo la estima o la ve como una hija/hermana, yo que sé)... Total... A esperar los demás capítulos... Estoy encantada con el guión y los personajes, en especial la pareja protagónica, obviamente me encantaría que quedarán juntos, sin embargo entiendo que es mucho mas complicado de lo que parece.
Completamente de acuerdo con tu comentario, sin embargo está la posibilidad (Muy grande) de que ella hizo todo esto solo porque sabia que los estaban fotografiando, ademas si de verdad fue una "Confesión" supongo que cuando ella se fue sola por su lado hubiera demostrado alguna emoción, tristeza, decepción o algo así, sin embargo solamente parecía enojada. En cuanto a el es un poco mas difícil, siendo tan correcto no creo que sienta por ella mas que empatía, para mi es inevitable shipearlos pero me parece que incluso si solo mantienen esa conexión que tienen hasta ahora sin necesidad de llegar a algo romántico no me afecta en absoluto porque el Drama es tan bueno que no lo hace algo "Necesario", solo espero que poco a poco se acerquen mas y ya, tal vez al final solo vivan felices por separado pero manteniendo esa conexión que establecieron al curarse el uno al otro.

Para protegerlo, lo que me gusta de ella es que lo pone primero a él :3 no importa si ella sale raspada al final, pero a él lo cuida mucho y tienes razón yo dudo mucho que él llegue a algo más con ella debido a que es una persona muy correcta (el personaje de él es bellísimo), y de igual forma aunque puede que no tenga pinta de un drama romántico no importa, su conexión es única así sin más, sin necesidad de llegar a otra cosa :3...

I love this part of Ep 10! I've rewatched it 10x already! Lee Sun Kyun is just so daebak and loveable! IU's acting here is just so sincere and honest. She delivered her lines plus the song and the movement of the camera is just so immersing that I've felt their emotions so intensely..this is one of those scenes that I really cant forget...It's just so great!

By telling him to hit her, she just pretended like she is the only one who is interested in him, and make it look like he does not want to be friendly with her, because she knows he won't cheat on his wife. Even if the cameraman brings the picture, it will just look like the girl wanted to be with him but he rejected it, and it won't be anything bad like Joon Young and his crew were looking for. This is my guess lol.

To me it feels like she is trying to protect him from the PI and, at the same time, be able to confess that she "kinda" has feelings for him. If he hits her, she gets rejected but will also be able to say it's for show to the PI (and gets to protect him!) If he doesn't hit her, then she knows that he clearly feels something for her too. TOO MUCH FEELS PEOPLE TOO MUCH FEELS.
This scene was not actually stage by Jian to protect Donghoon...I saw the picture that arrive on CEo that the picture looks like Donghoon was patting Jian head ..remember he ask her to do your job give me something for scandal...Jian couldn't think of anything else..so she stage it that way...that's why the CEO begun thinking more that there is really going on between them.
at first I really thought this is IU's confession to DH but we all know that JY's spy is taking video so IU staged the whole 'confrontation'. I am just in awe that we get to know Ji-an, the smarter she seems... always one step ahead of everyone...

Okay, Jian might actually have some feelings for ahjussi but I am pretty sure the biggest reason why she does a such an act is because she figured out someone was following them to take a pic ( for scandal ) and she does that so it looks like ahjussi is refusing the whole relationship. She is doing that to protect her ahjussi, she knows that he will get fired from his work if a weird scandal between her and ahjussi starts spreading.

After I watched the whole episode, I actually can understand about how jian feels about ahjussi, she loves him, but she didn't force him to love her back, and this ahjussi are really confused of his own feeling, especially about what he will do with his cheater wife, it's complicated but romantic in it's own way, I really fell in love with this drama :")

It's pretty obvious that she's protecting him here. Although most of it has been an act for the camera to catch him deliberately hitting her, I'm pretty sure there's some truth in her confession. You can tell when she's walking away, she's both frustrated and humiliated that her feelings had to be revealed like this and you can tell she really does care about him. It's honeslty really interesting because this is the most physical contact I have seen between the two, and we're already 10 episodes in. :') Tbh, I'm not expecting a romance. The drama is probably going to end as realistic as it has been. Even if he does end things with his wife, it's simply not realistic to end up with someone 20 years younger. It's obvious that the drama serves one purpose: to heal. This drama has ascended further than just a typical romance drama. Rather than romance, I just truly want to see the both of them genuinely finally happy.

I like that Ji An and Dong Hoon heal each other , but sometimes seeing their chemistry and how much they care for each other, I really hope that there can be some romance or ending on an open note for romance. Romance may not have to take central stage in the drama but can still be a sideline plot, especially since they are happy together and I hope his wife divorces with him

I do feel that JiAn likes him but I believe the reason is because he is the first person treated her so well other than her grandma. And I think ahjussi is not, he just treat her as sister and he wants to help her. No romance between them is definitely ok for me, because I rather prefer the ending with every character to live happily and life becomes better, thats more than enough. Even there is no romance, you can still sense their chemistry is overflowing though, thats amazing.

The thing is Donghoon helps and treats her so nice. It's not like how other good guys that always help her too. And the statement by Joonyoung, that eat and drink together with Donghoon is a sign that he likes her, makes her confused with her feelings. But i'm totally understand if she feels like that. She just doesnt have any experience of that.

Maybe it's because of my perspective by seeing her story, Jian has been working really hard since she was a child. She's not living the way people in her age lives normally, for example attending junior high school properly (she drops out. And for sure she didn't attend senior high school), because she has to pay her mother's debt.
Well, since the writer for sure doesnt have time to reveal how Jian exactly lives when she was young, i know that we can't make conclusion that she never likes someone in romantic way. But, well from what I see in drama, I'll say that I'm not that sure that Jian has been liking someone in romantic way.

I still watched this scene after My Ajusshi ended. The best scene of actress Lee Jieun in my opinion. Intense, explosive, & thought provoking. This was her moment of acting prowess & oh boy she didn’t disappoint. She was subtle but had enough punch to take over the entire scene. Beautifully acted.

Why do people get so worked up trying to figure out how they feel bout each other. For me its pretty OBVIOUS she loves him and he loves her too. You dont say 너 집에 가 with that finger moving while walking away if you dont feel anything. You do it cause u dont wanna aknowledge what uve been feeling since the beginning. It dossnt matter if they end phisically together in a relationship, love is more than that. They love each other, its obvious and its enough ☺️
I agree! If he really only saw her as a poor child to take care of and give charity to, I feel like he would have immediately taken the fatherly role and kindly but firmly turned her down. The way he pretty much ran away when she confessed said a lot. He even got angry a couple times there--calling her a crazy bitch when she asked him if he liked her too (which was really out of character for someone so gentle and mild-mannered) and hitting her when she screamed "Donghoon Park likes Jian Lee", which we know he would normally never ever do.
It seems like he subconsciously knows that he feels more for her than is socially acceptable and is doing everything he can not to acknowledge it. We're talking about someone who got his own brothers caught for sneaking money even though he knew that they needed it and it wouldn't be missed. Not that what they did was right, but my point is that not even familial love trumps his sense of "right" for him. I have a feeling that even if he does come to terms with his feelings by the end of the drama, he will never let himself be with Jian in that sense. That's fine with me, though. In my opinion, the line they keep between them despite their feelings is what makes their relationship so compelling.
Yeah, I think you're right. He was definitely wavering there. Their expressions, voices, reactions--everything about this scene was so much softer compared to the kiss scene. It was outright rejection then, and this time it was just avoidance. He only got angry (or panicked?) when she brought his feelings into question. But even then, he never said "you're wrong, I don't like you". I guess this is the real "temptation" that was hinted at in the earlier episodes. And I guess we'll see if that line about his not knowing whether or not he's strong against temptation was also foreshadowing.
Who wouldn't love Donghoon? Seriously, even the Knetizens who were all against any romance between them because of the age gap were like "I understand why Jian's in love with him." Because there's no way anyone wouldn't fall in love with someone like him. Ahhh what do I do with myself until the next episode!!! >
Exact, exact. Dong Hoon feels something too. He was shaken and had to flee. Obviously he is in conflict because, as Ji An said after almost kissing him, he struggles to stay correct even if to suffocat so many things it is a prison that is making his life so miserable (obviously his discomfort with the world has existential reasons also, he said that his name means nothing and that is very sujestivo to the emptiness that feels the character)
It seems that everything Ji An is talking about is true (she rarely lies to him, when he asked the worst thing she had killed she told the truth even this matter being costly to her). she said it because it was necessary to protect him, even though it will make him walk away.
About their relationship. Expectation sucks. Initially, I could not sort out what was happening and was desperate to name what I was seeing. But I understood that waiting for a romance disrupts the experience with drama (not wanting a romance too). This limits your vision. What they are delivering is much larger than that. It's about meeting and understanding. Get to know a person deeply, because you and he are made of the same material. See how the song lyrics A million roses that plays in the drama describes this well: " What is real love, I had painful tears.

¡¡¡¡No sé que pensar!!!!, me confunde su relación... Honestamente no se siente como si fueran a ser solo amigos o una relación de padre hija/hermana menor etc (de verdad la química es muy buena), ella por su lado se nota que comienza a sentir algo por él... Incluso como lo mira la delata y su confesión fingida se siente en el fondo con algo de realidad, por su parte él... Él me tiene tan confundida osea no parece que la ame pero en esta escena final me ha dejado muy sorprendida... Ella comienza a "declararle su amor" y él no quiere escucharlo (es como si no quisiera saber o darse cuenta que podría haber algo más entre su simple relación de compasión o amistad) luego cuando ella le pregunta ¿te gusto?... Las dos veces él se reserva a dar una respuesta simplemente no aclaro nada con ella (reservó su opinión ¿por qué?, en dado caso es más fácil hacerle entender a ella que solo la estima o la ve como una hija/hermana, yo que sé)... Total... A esperar los demás capítulos... Estoy encantada con el guión y los personajes, en especial la pareja protagónica, obviamente me encantaría que quedarán juntos, sin embargo entiendo que es mucho mas complicado de lo que parece.
Completamente de acuerdo con tu comentario, sin embargo está la posibilidad (Muy grande) de que ella hizo todo esto solo porque sabia que los estaban fotografiando, ademas si de verdad fue una "Confesión" supongo que cuando ella se fue sola por su lado hubiera demostrado alguna emoción, tristeza, decepción o algo así, sin embargo solamente parecía enojada. En cuanto a el es un poco mas difícil, siendo tan correcto no creo que sienta por ella mas que empatía, para mi es inevitable shipearlos pero me parece que incluso si solo mantienen esa conexión que tienen hasta ahora sin necesidad de llegar a algo romántico no me afecta en absoluto porque el Drama es tan bueno que no lo hace algo "Necesario", solo espero que poco a poco se acerquen mas y ya, tal vez al final solo vivan felices por separado pero manteniendo esa conexión que establecieron al curarse el uno al otro.

Para protegerlo, lo que me gusta de ella es que lo pone primero a él :3 no importa si ella sale raspada al final, pero a él lo cuida mucho y tienes razón yo dudo mucho que él llegue a algo más con ella debido a que es una persona muy correcta (el personaje de él es bellísimo), y de igual forma aunque puede que no tenga pinta de un drama romántico no importa, su conexión es única así sin más, sin necesidad de llegar a otra cosa :3...

I love this part of Ep 10! I've rewatched it 10x already! Lee Sun Kyun is just so daebak and loveable! IU's acting here is just so sincere and honest. She delivered her lines plus the song and the movement of the camera is just so immersing that I've felt their emotions so intensely..this is one of those scenes that I really cant forget...It's just so great!

To me it feels like she is trying to protect him from the PI and, at the same time, be able to confess that she "kinda" has feelings for him. If he hits her, she gets rejected but will also be able to say it's for show to the PI (and gets to protect him!) If he doesn't hit her, then she knows that he clearly feels something for her too.
