The way their family and friends surrounded them to pray as part of their ceremony is something I've never seen before, and it's so beautiful! They are blessed.
the best part of the same sex wedding videos i watch as if they were harlequin romance novel i was addicted to, is seeing, more now than ever, entire families fully involved. a concept inconceivable only a decade or two ago, when such marriages were often sad little affairs with one parent if any, and a reception in someone's home or the church hall. i am 74, and have been out my entire adult life, which came at a price, but these videos bring me joy. maybe i didn't get my whole wedding to a man, but the actions i took, and the price i paid helped make marriages like this possible.

You don't hear my speech in the video due to the music but it was dedicated as follows: It should not go unmentioned that we wouldn't be here today without the fight and struggle of our gay brothers and sisters - and their allies - that, for generations, worked to lay the foundation of this road before us. Lives lost and hearts broken, they fought so that Grant and I could be here today celebrating our love with you all...our favorite people. And we MUST continue to support them until all people are afforded equality in every shape and form. :)

Hi Jack, so glad you posted this, I can really relate. I'm 75 now, also out my entire adult life. My parents both had advanced degrees in Psychology and were quite liberal but never got comfortable with my sexuality, rarely wanted to talk about it, and considered it a blemish on the family. Videos like this one are bittersweet to me, it hurts that I could never have what they were able to have, but like you I paid a price and know that I helped pave the way so that others wouldn't have to go through some of th things that you and I had to endure.

what really touches me in these ceremonies is to notice how supportive their loved ones are.
Plenty of old people (parents, uncles, aunts, maybe). They are lucky.
on the other hand it kinda makes me sad cause i'll never have something like this.
Being born in a religious and full of prejudices family, sucks.
But it's ok.
If i have to get married, i'll do it anyway, away from them. No invitations at all.
i'm that kind of person now.
I learnt to survive against all odds with or without relatives supporting me. They won't be part of my personal life.
I'm gonna be happy ANYWAYS.
I learnt the thin difference between "relatives" and "family".
i have relatives only.

Every gay person has two families, his biological one and his LGBTQ+ one. It sucks that your biological one isn't supportive, but you do have family. Stay happy, for yourself and for this young couple who are so extraordinarily fortunate.
I really feel for you, being born into a religious family is hard, especially if you are 'different' or don't want to be part of all that, I know, my mom still can't call my daughters wife 'wife'.
Life on earth is short lived, eternity is forever.

Videos such as these bring me untold joy and enrich my day. It's great witnessing the support of family and relatives. This would have been unheard of, particularly in the USA, a quarter of century ago.
I was so deeply touched by this loving ceremony. My best wishes and all the happiness to both of you. Love is understanding, patience, caring and accepting that no one is perfect but, if we love that person, we accept those imperfections that every human has. Love forever.

As a mother of a proud gay daughter love like this is all I have ever wanted for her. She is accepted the way she is. When say she is different I just say no she is perfect. We need to all realize LOVE will always WIN. At the end of the day strip away the fears and prejudice we are all the same ALL STILL HUMAN..

A lovely wedding really nice seeing such a supportive family on both sides.
