I’ve been a loyal Ford customer my entire life, but my recent experience has completely shattered my trust in the brand. I bought a brand-new F-150, advertised as E85 compatible. However, after using E85, my truck started experiencing issues while still under warranty. Despite this, every time I brought it to the dealership, they insisted I should stop using E85. After the third or fourth visit, I decided to challenge their stance.
My truck ended up sitting at the dealership for three months until a Ford engineer finally determined that, despite the manual and vehicle labeling, the truck was not E85 compatible. This was a huge mistake on Ford’s part, and I was assured by Ford’s executive support that I would be compensated for the inconvenience and error. It’s been over a year since that promise was made, and I’ve received absolutely nothing.
To make matters worse, the alternator failed at just 27,000 miles, and the EGR pump developed a leak. My advice to everyone: Do not buy a Ford. I’m beyond disappointed, and words can’t fully express the frustration I feel.
