Not only did the Bronco used to have a V8, so did the Explorer and Expedition. I believe the main reason they downgraded their engines to a V6 in their SUVs is because regulations are getting tighter and they want to keep offering a V8 in the Mustang due to it being a muscle car, thus prioritizing it. They need a sufficient carbon offset these days. But I agree, a V8 would definitely make the SUV more American.
correct on the carbon situation. Farley himself said that the only reason they can offer a V8 in the Mustang is because the electric Mach E SUV offsets the fleet mileage enough to allow it. GM & Stellantis (Mopar) did not plan ahead enough, & thus, we're mandated out of the muscle car market as of 2025 w/v8s in engine bays. Sad. The *_Bill Stroppe Bronco_* is awesome, & would look great in my garage next to our Shelby GT500.

Shouldn’t the Braptor be the trim chosen for this package? Why would you use the Wildtrak, when the Braptor is the one that’s designed for Baja!?! Other than maximizing sales, it makes no sense.
Not far off! For the original Bronco, a surplus of Baja Broncos were purchased, had regular white painted hoods fitted, and sold by a dealership in Colorado as the "Denver Broncos Edition"
...im afraid it has NOTHIN in common with the original- except the colours- i only would take the old one- guess half the price- half the weight- simpler technique...
I have ran 100s of hard off road miles in Baja at high speed in my 2022 Bronco and it has been great! Will be doing all the way to Cabo and back in May. Oh yeah with 20 other Broncos...Yes, I have a lot of money in aftermarket parts and suspension but the 2.7 motor has been fantastic especially with the Ford Performance tune! Your take on the Bronco reliability is uninformed at best!

I am a Ford guy and own 2.But when is Ford going to stop being number 1 in recalls,it's pathetic.I own a 2017 Mustang GT Premium and have have many many problems and will not ever buy a new Ford.
Absolutely love this and love that Willie got to see the final project before he passed this year.
