Tournaments are based on team survival and an elimination system so if you’re top two you will move forward if it is a free for all
I'm in the midst of my 1st play through and I wish I knew how important the social trait is for the game. Specifically leadership and charm as they are (as far as I've seen so far) the best way to increase renown. The grind to clan level 4 is real. Wishing I had gotten more leadership earlier. Can't wait to start my own kingdom!! Love this game, love your videos!!

Just started myself. The learning curve is rather enormous in Bannerlord. And you're absolutely right the game does not hold your hand in the slightest. Slowly figuring it out but these kinds of videos help alot.

Been playing for years and I still messed my whole campaign up and had to start over. I would recommend knowing that exactly what your final character build is going to be so you don’t waste focus points. Very unforgiving and you will end not maxing out anything in the end

As a Bannerlord console payer if there is one tip that i can give to another console player its this: Buy a cheap Bluetooth Dongle mouse for navigating the menus. I have a small laptop mouse and its made using the cursor so much nicer so much less D-pad spamming.

The battles are really fun
I would love to see some strategies or tips for formation during battles. This along with orders and everything. It confuses me on Xbox
And I also have no clue how to shield bash lol

See I've got tons of experience in warband on console and PC and a little experience in pre-release bannerlord on PC but it's still sometimes rough for me to get a start going well enough to not snowball towards the middle game on Xbox so hopefully this series helps. Either way should be something entertaining to have on while I play
Console player here... 2 questions. 1, can you assign a follower to a squad w/o them being a captain? 2, how do you drop weapons!? Lol. (So nice to have a console letsplay) thankyou
Are you talking about your brother or sister or kids? I feel like slot if UI options are displayed for us… but I don’t think we can. But maybe we can lol just haven’t figure it out yet lol.
For dropping weapons, lol, if I had a controller in my hands I could tell you how. But I don’t remember. Play around a little in the arena practice matches. I did about 50 practice matches to learn the combat and control and such.
@@LCInfantry Holding down corresponding button drops specific weapon... still figuring out companions. Alot of the buttons are a guessing game. Getting the hang of it now

Yeah I have questions about companion too. I had like 7 but some are now “staying in (city name)”. And idk how to get them out to use them again.

Yeah late game after a pyyric victory looters can be dangerous
I just started playing this game on ps4 and I find it difficult actually swinging the sword. After looking at your videos, which are awesome btw, I can see I’m probably doing it the wrong way.
As I understand it in the tutorial you are suppose to drag the left stick in the direction you want to swing while you hit the R1 button, as in this should be done with both buttons at the same time. But this makes the camera move around a lot more when the actual attack is done.
Could you clarify how you actually make your attacks in different directions?
Yeah it's a combination of your carma angle and when you attack. I might add that your character actually having skill in the weapon helps lol 🖖

Thanks again for the video, it's good to see my start of the game was to far off this. A video idea because I was playing as a merc and was join an the AI army. In the siege of a city I got an order to us left siege machine but didn't know where it was, could you help? As a saving grace I did find ladders
They are kinda big. So if on the map at the time, you should see it 🤔

How do you know if the price is high or low at the markets? So you can trade better or not buy at all.

Are banners bugged for console version at the moment? I can’t equip them to anyone.
How are you trying to equip them? I believe banners can only be equipped in the deployment screen before battles. You don’t equip them from the regular inventory screen even though banners do show up in your inventory.
