Detailed instructions for tying the Bird of Prey Caddis.
Hook: 2X-short emerger hook hook (here, a Dai-Riki 125), sizes 14-18.
Bead: 7/64-inch, gold.
Thread: 8/0 or 70 Denier, black.
Rib: Flashabou, small, pearl.
Tail: Natural Hungarian partridge.
Body: Light hare’s mask.
Hackle collar: Hungarian partridge.
Thorax: Peacock herl.

I love watching these videos! The primary reason that I started tying flies is due to your videos. I stumbled across these a long time ago when I saw a video for the zebra midge and thought "Hey, I could do that!"
You've come so close to the standard McKenzie River fly, the Possie Bugger. Is there any chance you could do an episode for that one? It's like a combination of the Bird of Prey and the Guide's Choice but with generous flashabou!

Maybe a short section at the end of each video on tactics with the particular fly. Just something real general would be great/enough. Your videos are awesome. I taught myself to tie completely from watching your videos. I've recommended you to a number of people. Thanks for all you do.
