Glad you guys finally got around to mewithoutYou! such a great band with a super diverse discography! Brain cell will be split and you both get a half :)
This is going to sound like a diss, but it’s not. I’m not familiar with this band, but the first thing I thought when he started singing was he sounds like Wayne from Letterkenny. It didn’t help or hurt the song, just thought it was funny.

Aaron is probably the best lyricist on the planet, amazing story telling.
I wholeheartedly agree. It especially helps he's as well-read as he is. Chapelcross Towns is lyrically probably my favorite song.
Certainly the most creative I've ever listened to. He's the man
GENIUS LYRICIST
@@omotional Seen them live more than any other band. Miss these guys so much.
"I do not exists" is the first and last line of the album
My second favorite band
This was an awesome tour. Musically and visually.
If you want a similar song from the same album with more transparent lyrics a would highly recommend Messes of Men.
I love your reactions and i love to see someone else listen to this band, they have some of the best songwriting I've ever heard, truly underrated
Glad you guys got to listen to this! One of my favorite songs by them. Also, I love your guy’s shirts.
They have a concept album that's much easier to follow called Ten Stories but still maintains the ingenious lyrcism. Totally worth checking out.
honestly this album by them was also more of a concept album as well, instead of telling a story its a full argument for the existence of God.

Much of it is Gospel and biblical lyrics. They have some HEAVY stuff, but it’s all good.
