If he had hit that car and his bike hurt or killed someone he would be charged with either homicide or attempted homicide and the video would have convicted him. That's booking it and sometimes people don't understand how much ground these rockets travel literally EVERY second at high speed. If the instructor thinks you have blind spots (because you did not look well), you do not get your license. Blind spots are not a thing, and they are an excuse for bad drivers. Since people driving should have driving licenses, you can assume they know how to avoid blind spots.

Yea I haven’t been riding on the road for long (mostly on my dirt bike, but this season I finally got my road license) and I watched a lot of these throughout the years, sometimes it kinda seems like the biker could have been a lot more careful and a lot less aggressive, if you’re going twice as fast as everyone, you have to be twice as careful

I operate under the philosophy that drivers stay out of each other’s way. If someone is speeding then I will make an effort to not hold them back. When I speed and see someone ahead, I just choose a path that avoids them. You never have to break someone's mirror, you choose to. Breaking mirrors does not teach them to use them. There's only 3 possible outcomes. 1, the driver gets angry and hits you. 2, the driver gets angry and decides all bikers are cunts and they become more aggressive towards them. 3, now they have no mirror to use which can cause them to hit someone else until its fixed. you do know the plates cant get you a ticket sent home right? the plates identify the vehicle, not the driver. the first two letters identify the place the vehicle is registered in, for example: anglia=A the two numbers following the one or two letters are the age of the car, as in 55=2005 model car. The rest letters are just random really so, the plate will look like this (A 55 SOT)

Blind spots are not a thing. In Belgium your license is denied at the exam, if you don't check your "blind spots". You have a front window, a back window, 4 side windows and 2 mirrors. Only some small A, B & C pillars. How can you not see everything around you??? And for vans, they have wide angle mirrors, so they have full vision too.

I absolutely love these videos. I love a good mirror smacking, but when you are going 120+ in a lane and someone’s indicates and moves over I don’t think it’s the 4 wheelers fault.
As someone who rides 50cc (im 16) we have to be on the bike lane in my country, this implies alot of elderly people often just cross the bike lane without looking because, "oh well no one ever uses them, right?" I've nearly been killed about 6 times in 1 year due to this, however I've never reacted like people in this video. Giving the finger or yelling doesn't help the case, I usually just slowly shake my head at them to let them know that was really messed up. (and no its not because 50cc riders are too slow to have fatal crashes, i usually go 60-85km/h)

2:24 never challenge old people to a drag race. Was at a red light on my way home and I saw a slightly older BMW 3-series beside me. Mind you, this car had no badges in the back, only the BMW emblem. He eyed my Volvo V70 since it's got at least some "esthetic upgrades" to it, so I guesed he found it quite nice. However I only have 170hp but I saw he was trying to get me into it. I agreed and when the light turned green he flew off the line and all I could see was his tail lights until we stopped. This guy must've been in his late 60s and looked to be a guy that spends most of his retired days in the garage but I guess gramps wanted some fun. At the next red light I asked what the hell that was. Couldn't have gotten a straighter answer: "M3 E46. Tuned it myself. 390 horsepower."

To all the potential mirror slappers, just know if you decide to slap a mirror, you're slapping it at whatever speed your bike is going plus the speed of the slap itself. So if you're traveling at 40 MPH and you slap a mirror, your hand is probably making contact with the mirror at 45+ MPH. Great way to break some fingers. If you have to be an asshole, I recommend striking downward on the mirror with a closed fist.
Most of those videos are either from people who don't know how to ride or are speeding and then are surprised that cars don't see them coming. I' ve been riding bikes during all my life and there is one thing that i have learned, it's that when you are on a bike you are a quick small thing not quite visible and you should never suppose that people see you or you're dead one day!

He hit the barriers on both sides of a highway (one after the other of course!) that had three lanes and shoulders on both sides. He managed to do this on a Honda transalp (which has a stock top speed of around 100 mph) for crying out loud, not some crazy racing monster! He was a big fella too around 2 meters or 6 ft 4 tall. He was a cameraman for a local tv station and he always travelled to the locations on his Transalp. How can someone not realize, that a bike can never win from a car, even if you're right...

I still have a decent size burn on my right leg from a red hot pipe on a Honda 150 dirtbike sliding out in heavy sand lol. Probobly 12 years ago

As someone who rides 50cc (im 16) we have to be on the bike lane in my country, this implies alot of elderly people often just cross the bike lane without looking because, "oh well no one ever uses them, right?" I've nearly been killed about 6 times in 1 year due to this, however I've never reacted like people in this video. Giving the finger or yelling doesn't help the case, I usually just slowly shake my head at them to let them know that was really messed up.
(and no its not because 50cc riders are too slow to have fatal crashes, i usually go 60-85km/h)

2:24 never challenge old people to a drag race. Was at a red light on my way home and I saw a slightly older BMW 3-series beside me. Mind you, this car had no badges in the back, only the BMW emblem. He eyed my Volvo V70 since it's got at least some "esthetic upgrades" to it, so I guesed he found it quite nice. However I only have 170hp but I saw he was trying to get me into it. I agreed and when the light turned green he flew off the line and all I could see was his tail lights until we stopped. This guy must've been in his late 60s and looked to be a guy that spends most of his retired days in the garage but I guess gramps wanted some fun. At the next red light I asked what the hell that was. Couldn't have gotten a straighter answer: "M3 E46. Tuned it myself. 390 horsepower."

To all the potential mirror slappers, just know if you decide to slap a mirror, you're slapping it at whatever speed your bike is going plus the speed of the slap itself. So if you're traveling at 40 MPH and you slap a mirror, your hand is probably making contact with the mirror at 45+ MPH. Great way to break some fingers. If you have to be an asshole, I recommend striking downward on the mirror with a closed fist.

Most of those videos are either from people who don't know how to ride or are speeding and then are surprised that cars don't see them coming.
I' ve been riding bikes during all my life and there is one thing that i have learned, it's that when you are on a bike you are a quick small thing not quite visible and you should never suppose that people see you or you're dead one day!

A member of our motorcycle club was known for slapping cars if they didn't do as he liked. RIP, he died in 2009 in a one-sided motor cycle accident on the highway. Unclear what exactly happened, but he did it spectacularly from what I've heard. He hit the barriers on both sides of a highway (one after the other of course!) that had three lanes and shoulders on both sides. He managed to do this on a Honda transalp (which has a stock top speed of around 100 mph) for crying out loud, not some crazy racing monster! He was a big fella too around 2 meters or 6 ft 4 tall. He was a cameraman for a local tv station and he always travelled to the locations on his Transalp.
How can someone not realize, that a bike can never win from a car, even if you're right...
