Guys, if you're having trouble with turning animal portraits into watercolors (such as with missing an eye, or similar), change the second filter from 'Cutout' to 'Watercolour' with the settings: Brush detail - 14, Shadow Intensity - 0, Texture - 1, and you should be good to go! Fun fact if you want, you can add a new layer, fill it white, and use the texturizer filter to make it look like canvas, as opposed to adding the paper texture image, but either way works!

you need to select the layer and place it perfectly in the layer panel. then try it again..
