+Chico Dusty Yeah his tempo tends to fluctuate a bit, no pun intended. Julien is much tighter and does all sorts of ridiculously weird, but cool fills. Jay is more Bonham inspired, and does that well too. Lots of feeling in there.
+Chico Dusty lol, you do realize that Kevin starts this song and the band follow in with the tempo that KEVIN has set? Jays a brilliant drummer and he's a fucking metronome. watch Pond's "Don't stare at the sun and you'll go blind". mental drumming.
i agree, although julians tempo also fluctuates too (love how you said no pun intended because of the song lmao!), being a drummer myself, i really started to realize they both are off compared to the studio versions. Julian is better for the band and seeing them live, he really makes the experience explosive and exciting with his fantastic fills and speed send you into a dimensional wonderland
I was there! That year at MainSquare they had Arcade Fire, The National, White Lies etc... and Tame Impala of course but at that time they were an inch of what they become :D
@LilRedRasta thats not a tele, If its a fender guitar it's probably a jaguar or mustang, could be a new series that fender just started making called pawn shop series.
this is the best lineup of Tame. Jay on drums and Nick on bass. its fucking monumental. Jay just kills it.
Jay is awful on drums he always plays the songs slower
