Dear Fr Warner. Thank you so much for such a detailed teaching of Prophet Micah. You really bring this to life. Thank you for the tremendous trouble you would have taken to put this together inspite of the issues you face. God bless you Father🙏🙏

Dear Fr Warner - Micah opens this chapter with part of the prophecy of doom. As you mentioned we need to know that God is speaking to everyone because one day we will all be judged. Samaria & Judah have sinned so much that God will come down from heaven to pronounce his devastating judgement. Micah laments that sin had spread like an incurable disease to all the cities in the southern kingdom where he came from. The imagery portrayed shows God's power & the severity of His judgement. Thank you Fr for helping us to understand these texts & for your blessing. God bless you & keep you in good health. 🙏 💞

God call us all to listen to His Word and when our transgressions are grave, we are in danger of being punished severely
Micah has evaluated the society in which he lived knew that the people had sinned especially the hierarchy. This is because the ones in authority have to set the good example.
The first Chapter from the Book of Micah spells doom for the Northern and the Southern Kingdoms
Micah became an object lesson and started lamenting and wailing to draw the people towards repentance.
The words - Wailing Yatra- is very appropriate in this Chapter.
May the Holy Spirit continue to inspire and guide you Fr.Warner
God bless you and protect you always 🙏 Fr.Warner
May the Precious Blood flowing from the Sacred Wounds of Jesus cover you and wash away all illness Amen 🙏

    Dear Father
Unbelievable exaplanation of Micah. What else do we need. God is giving all the exaplation on the doom which we are bringing on us. Micah laments for us our disease is incurable. So sad we are marching so steadily towards doom. Thanks father

    Thank you Father.
Recently you mentioned that our following was reduced a bit and I thought I should share - yes it's challenging to following for example two lessons per day.
Balancing scripture study with work commitments is challenging especially when I want to listen and re-listen and get different perspectives. Wishing that there was more familial and social encouragement to study scripture earlier in life.

Watched this video today, Fr, couldn't do it yesterday.
You stressed on the grimness and peril of sin, and how we let it enter our homes and society. May your words serve as a reminder and warning to us all. May we repent and return to God.
Thanks for explaining the puns. Must be sounding so interesting in Hebrew.

    Padre,
I so look forward to my morning readings which include your teaching. Your interpretations and explanations of the bible, and the principles of our Catholic faith are simply wonderful. You are direct, fair, honest and when your commentary might seem judgmental to some, your personality helps clarify that you are speaking on behalf of God’s established proclamations, and you do not project a judgement from any personal bias.
U.S. Marines abide by an important tenet of, 'Leadership by Example'. In doing so, each junior Marine possesses the right (and responsibility) to respectfully and objectively view the operational soundness - as well as - moral and just applications of their senior's authority. Conversely, every Marine Leader understands they cannot conduct themselves with carte blanche authority and disregard for others without having to explain their actions to their own seniors at some time.
Already a Marine when I joined the Catholic faith, I tend to view its leadership through the same lens. Doing so has periodically placed me at odds with some family members and fellow Catholics as I do not shy away from respectfully voicing concerns, I might have within my faith community and/or specifically a priest. My experiences have shown a reticence by most people who grew up as Catholics to approach a priest regarding any issue they feel might offend him. And sadly, I have met some priests whose personality and style do foster that concern among parishioners.
I appreciate how Pastor Terry Keehan at Holy Family Catholic Community in Inverness, Illinois describes a priest’s three key responsibilities to their congregation; “We must articulate, suggest, and celebrate the presence of God in human life”.
With that said, I feel I would very much enjoy belonging to a community or parish with you as the pastor. My observance is that you are quite approachable, fair, kind and experienced and you embrace your role as being responsible for and to and for your parishioners. You don’t shy away from issuing objective, criticism based on our shared faith without it being judgmental.
Thank you again Padre for all that you have done and continue to do for all of us.
    With respect,
    T. T. Bryant

No, Thank YOU Padre'. I pray that God blesses us with your presence for years to come. You are quite a gem. I think that I was originally drawn to Catholicism because of its structure and regimentation. I also believe I was blessed by being part of the U.S. Military Archdiocese. The Marine Corps gets its Judge Advocates, Medical, Dental and Religion personnel via the Navy. And although some military chaplains can often be considered 'liberal', many are not. And it's been my experience the military environment has often sponsored more frank, honest and earnest conversations and relationships between many of the chaplains I've known and my fellow Catholic Marines and Sailors. Thank you again. Also, thank you very much for recognizing my title. I certainly do not seek the recognition but am grateful to receive it. @@pottypadre

Micah Chapter 1 teaches us that persistent sin has severe consequences. It invites us to turn from our sinful ways, reminding us of God's mercy and righteousness and His desire that we live in obedience to His ways. Today's reflection helps us to introspect our sinful ways, helping us to reflect on faith and hope. Thank you Fr.Warner for today's reflection on the Book of Micah, helping us to understand God's judgement, leading us to live our lives free from sinful ways. God bless and heal you. AMEN!
