I think that Luxu possesses Xigbar in-between him confronting Xehanort about loosing his eye to Terra and when he shows up at the Keyblade Graveyard. This is why when Xigbar shows up in the Keyblade Graveyard, confronting Aqua and Ven, his eyes are then amber.
The hot take regarding "Why organization 13 hunted Sora in KH2" Goes to show some lack of knowledge on people's understanding of the Kingdom Hearts. At the end of 358 Days, Roxas goes AWOL from organization 13, and is actively being hunted by organization throught Kh2 and possibly DDD and KH3. Given that Roxas is Sora's nobody. Eliminating Sora would also eliminate Roxas (considering If is Xhanort died his Heartless and Nobody wouldn't be able to to exists- giving to another reason Xhanort used time travel to live forever) and regarding the Organization needing Sora to collect his Hearts toward the Kingdom Hearts see in KH2. Xemnas is a part of Xhanort who is aware there are multiple ways of archiving Kingdom hearts, and is also aware of other keyblade bearers possibly existing, or being able to be made by Xhanort.
Almost 2 years later, I've just realized that Pat read my take at the very end of this video. While the chat boo'd my take (even tho I'm right), I'm at least glad I made him laugh. I appreciate Pat engaging with my silly take in good faith. I still think Braveheart is better than the Way to Dawn tho. #ShadowTheHedgehogAssKeyblade
retcon, as far as i understand the word, is directly changing how you set up a character, plot device, etc. Xigbar’s past before BBS was never fully known to us, therefore it isn’t a retcon, because it doesn’t change pre-established lore
Thesis: Ventus is an example of lazy character design and only exists as a way for Tetsuya Nomura to avoid new character designs for each of the Organization's corresponding Somebodies. Argument: So the story says that Roxas looks like Ventus because Ventus' heart rested within Sora for a while, which sure. So why then, does Roxas not have qualities from both of these characters? Roxas looks like a carbon copy of Ventus and shares zero likeness with Sora’s looks, or personality wise. Honestly, I feel like the only reason Nomura made Ventus and Roxas look the same was because he didn’t want to have to draw a corresponding Somebody for each Nobody. Ergo, Axel looks exactly like Lea minus the markings under his eyes. And I do not think this was always meant to be the case because of Namine. She looks nothing like Kairi supposedly because of Kairi’s heart contacting with Sora. So why does Naminé not look like Sora? She supposedly has blue eyes like Sora, but she’s a pure platinum blonde so where is the continuity in all that?? Why does she not have brown or red hair?? I genuinely think that Nomura either couldn’t or didn’t want to come up with 13 different designs for the Organization’s somebodies and as a result, Ventus gave him the perfect excuse to avoid that. Roxas' whole arc in KH2 was about his desire to prove himself as his own person, regardless of whether or not he was only considered "half" of someone else. So it is WILD that when he sees Ventus in KH3, he doesn't immediately spiral into a deep existential depression that immediately kind of walked back his entire arc. Like he just found out that he can exist outside of Sora, but now his face and physical likeness isn't even his own. And I get it. It's a kid's game, but for me, that is one piece of writing (along with many others) in this series that I find to be inexcusable.
“This game is meant to be played in short bursts on a handheld for portability” … I mean that is definitely a fact, but what does it being the best fit for the DS have to do with anything? 😭 has anyone ever argued over whether Days or Coded is the better FIT for the DS, rather than fighting between them being a better game than the other? No hate to the person who made that take either lol I just thought it was funny
I’m sure the devs tried hard to make Arendel interesting but I just can’t like the world… visually it’s not interesting because it’s all snow (duh) and I hate the Olaf part lmao

too many people are considering xigbars reveal as a "retcon" like no. people use retcon and plothole too loosely nowadays
