much enjoyed the talk, thanks very much. Sorry to hear of Baram's passing - wonderful legacy. Lovely synchronicity as I take an early morning walk today, Christmas Day, on the other side of the planet to you, while carrying my old transistor radio - a history segment comes on talking about Dafydd Iwan in which Yma o Hyd gets mentioned along with Dafydd's battle to get the Welsh language recognised. An unexpected delight. All the best to everyone. ... we're still here.
Thank you guys for continuing this channel. I haven't been on live streams since Ross was with us so I don't really know you guys as well yet, but it's very good that someone is continuing this. It's important.
Re the stone cross/knotwork is possibly pre-christian - the knotwork is a reworking of the intertwined serpent - which is a symbol of Arphaxhad - Chaldean/Ancient British.
RIP baram 😢 Urion reghed had ravens on his coat of arms .... Bran is said to have built modern day loughor .. and loughor rfc has very similar club badge to urien !! All of it is a major coincidence 😂
You nailed it - its all about the threat to the claims of the RC Church - the whole ancient history of Britain de-legitimises its whole claim over Christianity/The Church
Regarding the carbon dating of the wood o the bridge: if the bridge had been built many years prior to the carbon date of this particular piece of wood…would a bridge never need repair over time? Would a bridge not need old wood removed and replaced with new wood in time? Wood exposed to both heavy wear/traffic and damp/water would require much more frequent replacement than the rafter of a house with a protective roof covering the wood wouldn’t it? So why can the age of a single piece of wood be used to date the bridge itself? Common sense says the bridge’s original structure would be restored fairly frequently over the years of its use.
Coincidentally the statue of King Lud and sons and while you say another name for him as Don is situated in the church foyer of St.Dunstan In The West. i.e Dons Town coincidence im sure 😂
Cuno- dog so Cunobelline is “the dog of Beli.” “Faithful hound of” or “pet of” could be the meaning, or “I am only worthy to be counted as the great one’s dog.” It was not uncommon for names to begin with Cuno or “dog of” in ancient times.
I was watching Randall Carlson yesterday and he was talking about the Tunguska Comet that hit Russia in 1908 and leveled thousands of miles of trees. He said it exploded 5 miles up in the air. I was wondering if that’s what happened in 562 AD. I remember Alan Wilson talking about some castles or something that had stone melt from the extreme temperatures. Does anyone know the name of the castle? Randall Carlson is in the same genre of alternative history as graham hancock. I’m sure they would be interested in this comet story. Someone needs to let them know maybe I will if I get enough information to bring
